Codere Online (NASDAQ: CDRO) has inked a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the National Football League to become an official sportsbook partner in Mexico.

The deal will also make Codere an official partner and sponsor of Super Bowl LXI and the NFL Mexico Game and represents one of Codere Online’s highest profile sports partnerships to date.
It comes as the operator continues to expand its presence in Mexico, which it describes as one of its largest and most strategically important markets.
Carlos Sabanza, director of sponsorships and public relations at Codere Online, described the partnership as an “important milestone” for the operator.
“This agreement strengthens our premium positioning while underlining our long-term commitment to Mexico, a market with an extraordinary passion for the NFL,” Sabanza said.
“Together, we look forward to creating distinctive experiences that bring fans closer to the game and further enhance our sports betting and entertainment offering.”
Codere will sponsor the NFL’s 2026 game in Mexico City, which takes place on November 22, when the San Francisco 49ers face the Minnesota Vikings. The game will mark the NFL’s first regular-season matchup in Mexico since 2022.
Codere will also serve as an official sponsor of Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles in February 2027.
NFL Targets Mexican Fan Base
Mexico is one of the NFL’s most important international markets. Arturo Olivé, managing director of NFL Mexico, said the country has “millions of passionate fans engaging with our game year-round.”
“We are pleased to welcome Codere Online, one of Mexico’s most established and recognized online gaming and sports betting operators, as a partner,” Olivé said.
“Together, we will elevate the fan experience through innovative activations, exclusive opportunities and unique moments that bring supporters closer to the NFL.”
The companies said NFL-related content and activations under the partnership will operate in accordance with responsible gambling, integrity, and regulatory standards.
The NFL agreement comes after a strong period for Codere Online in Mexico.
In July, the operator raised its full-year outlook after reporting record second-quarter results, with Mexico being its largest market. Mexican NGR increased 24% year-on-year to €36.1 million ($41.5 million) during the quarter.
Codere Online also said at the time that Mexico and Spain had been the primary drivers of its growth, helping Q2 group NGR rise 27% to a record €69.4 million ($79.9 million).
