The name of the game in Ontario’s growing igaming market is digital casino.

Blueprint Gaming, the United Kingdom slots developer, is looking to build on that, announcing a new deal today with Rush Street Interactive (RSI) to provide their content across RSI’s BetRivers platform in the province.

RSI to Offer Blueprint’s Megaways Slots

A host of Blueprint’s most popular games will now be available to slot players on the BetRivers platform, including its Megaways offering featuring Napolean Megaways and Majestic Fury Megaways, as well as games from the company’s library, like Rick and Morty: Strike Back and The Lost Boys.

Online Casinos in Ontario: Q3 $18.9 Billion in Wagers

According to Q3 2024-25 market data (ended Dec. 31, 2024) shared last week by iGaming Ontario, there are 50 operators and 83 licensed gaming websites with activity in Ontario. 

Total wagers were at $22.7 billion (not including bonuses), a 22% increase over Q2 ($18.7 billion), and a 32% increase over Q3 2023-24.

Total gaming revenue ($825.8 million) was a 10% increase over Q2 and a 25% increase compared to Q3 of last fiscal year. Gaming revenue represents total cash wagers, including rake fees, tournament fees, and other fees, across all operators, minus player winnings derived from cash wagers and does not take into account operating costs or other liabilities.

RSI Looking to Boost Online Casino Catalogue

Casino games (including slots, live and computer-based table games and peer-to-peer bingo) dominate the market – 83 per cent of total wagers ($18.9 billion) and 78 per cent ($644 million) of gaming revenue. Out of those 83 gaming websites 74 are online casino.

RSI’s objective like all other operators is take a bigger bite out of that. In Ontario BetRivers has over 3,000 slots and RNG table games. Additionally, they offer over 700 live dealer tables and games from four different live dealer studios – Evolution, Playtech, Pragmatic Play, and Authentic.
