  • EDC will expand to a 12-day format for 2027, featuring two festival weekends.
  • The new “Dusk Till Dawn” schedule includes extensive events and activations between the weekends.
  • Ticket sales begin today, May 22, at noon, with various pass options available

EDC will no longer be a festival in Las Vegas so much as a season. Starting in 2027, the three-night electronic-music rave will expand to 12 nights. This includes bookending weekends called EDC Dusk (May 13-16) and ED Dawn (May 21-23), as well as a week of Las Vegas concerts, parties and other activations in between them will test how long the human body can function without sleep.

Tickets go on sale this afternoon, five days after this year’s version wrapped up at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. (Or at least it was supposed to. There may be some stragglers left.)

A statement from Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac, the collective that created the Electric Daisy Carnival 29 years ago, called “Dusk Til Dawn” the “next evolution of EDC.”

“We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across 12 days and two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love,” Rotella said. “This concept gives Headliners the freedom to choose their own path and join us for one or both weekends, while enabling us to continue evolving, experimenting creatively, and sharing new moments Under the Electric Sky.”

The goal of the two weekends is to spread out the crowds, lower the nightly crush, and integrate more deeply with Las Vegas itself. However, as Vital Vegas noted, that integration probably won’t include casino gaming floors that much.

EDC brings roughly 200,000 visitors and more than half a million total festival entries each year, a windfall for hotels that immediately triple their room rates. But ravers don’t gamble, drink much, or care about Cirque shows.

Prices for a single pass to either EDC Dusk or EDC Dawn are as follows:

  • GA starting at $399.99 (all-in)
  • GA+starting at $499.99 (all-in)
  • VIP starting at $899.99 (all-in)

Passes to both EDC Dusk and Dawn start at $599.

Passes are available at EDC’s official website beginning at 12 noon today, May 22.
