The list of candidates for the People’s Sexiest Man Alive features eight handsome celebrities. While other names may come into consideration before the market is resolved, Bad Bunny, Hudson Williams, and Michael B. Jordan are the favorites at this time. 

Puerto Rican singer, producer, and actor Bad Bunny’s probability has moved from 7% to 26% since February 18. We saw a significant spike on Polymarket after his Super Bowl LX halftime show performance. 

He may not have the same profile, but Hudson Williams is a strong candidate thanks to his breakout role in Heated Rivalry. Michael B. Jordan, Ryan Gosling, and Connor Storrie are other actors in the running. This is important to note, given that the last six winners have been on-screen talent.

Bad Bunny | 24% Chance | Yes 30¢ 

It’s been quite a year for Bad Bunny, hasn’t it? Currently finishing up his DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, the 32-year-old made history by becoming the first artist to win “Album of the Year” at the Grammys with an all-Spanish-language record. His headline performance at the Super Bowl just 7 days later capped a remarkable start to the year.

While being named “Sexiest Man Alive” perhaps doesn’t have the same prestige as other awards he has won, Bad Bunny’s much-publicized glow up puts him firmly in contention. Polymarket users have bought “Yes” consistently since March, and the trend has been the same on other US prediction markets.

His probability hasn’t dropped below 14% since then, and peaked at 33% on July 9. The “Dakiti” and “Me Porto Bonito” singer was 10% clear of his closest rivals at the time of writing.

Hudson Williams | 14% Chance | Yes 15¢ 

Not many would have had Hudson Williams in the running this time last year. However, the Canadian actor won hearts playing Shane Hollander in the Crave TV series Heated Rivalry, where he was certainly not shy about stripping off his clothes. 

The 25-year-old was given a 45% chance on Polymarket on February 12. However, his probability has dropped significantly and now sits at 14%. This is perhaps due to the actor’s recent confrontation with paparazzi in Paris. 

At one point, he even attempted to set a photograph on fire. This was an out-of-character moment for a man who won “Best Leading Performance in a Drama Series” at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Michael B. Jordan | 10% Chance | Yes 14.7¢

Jordan is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and he was named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People back in 2020. His beaming smile and muscular physique make him the perfect leading man. The Creed and Black Panther star is bidding to become only the 5th person to win the award twice. 

The 2026 Oscar winner is priced at 10% on Polymarket, and traders can buy “Yes” at 14.7¢. His probability dropped to 4.6% on March 6, perhaps because People opted for a lesser-known winner in 2026 (Jonathan Bailey). 

Ryan Gosling | 7% Chance | Yes 12.3¢

It’s shocking, I know, but Ryan Gosling has never been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive. However, this is reportedly because of Gosling himself. The Canadian actor is believed to have turned down the opportunity on multiple occasions because it is too mainstream. Actors hey? 

The La La Land, Barbie, and The Notebook star remains a popular figure at the age of 45. His advancing years are no issue, as People has crowned six 50+ winners over the years. Gosling’s sculpted cheekbones, thick eyebrows, and deep-set eyes make him a hit among fans. However, his probability hasn’t exceeded 13.2% since February 15.

Connor Storie | 6% Chance | Yes 11¢

Storrie is another Heated Rivalry star to make the list. Fresh from receiving an Emmy nomination, the American actor’s background has given him a physique that many envy. I can’t not mention those curly locks, either. However, a 6% chance on Polymarket suggests that 2026 may come too early as far as People’s cover star is concerned. 

Who Else is in the Running for the 2026 Sexiest Man Alive? 

Polymarket offers odds on a handful of other candidates. It’s no surprise to see Timothy Chalemet listed. Standout performances in Dune and Marty Supreme thrust the American-French actor further into the limelight. 

However, with a “Yes” price of just 9¢, it seems unlikely that People will opt for a man who claimed earlier in the year that “no one cares about” ballet and opera. Chalamet has a 6% chance, just 1% greater than Travis Kelce. 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end recently tied the knot with Taylor Swift. However, the last athlete to win “Sexiest Man Alive” was David Beckham in 2025. Kelce’s probability hasn’t gone beyond 10% since February. 

Clavicular completed the list. The looksmaxxing influencer may be controversial, but he has a rapidly growing following. Real name Braden Peters, the streamer attributes his appearance to “bonesmashing”, a practice involving hitting your face with a hammer. Don’t ask! A “Yes” price of 2.2¢ reflects Clavicular’s low probability in Polymarket’s crowd-sourced odds.

It is based on the person named by People Magazine as the Sexiest Man Alive. I expect an outcome by early to mid-November if previous years are anything to go by. While it’s never happened before, the market will resolve to “Other” should People shock us all by announcing multiple winners.
