  • Las Vegas police have identified the man who shot two people to death in front of the Bellagio on Sunday night
  • The two men were YouTube vloggers who had a yearlong beef
  • The intended target’s female partner was also murdered after attempting to thwart the attack
  • The entire gruesome incident was captured on a livestream posted by the victim

Las Vegas police identified the assassin in Sunday night’s Bellagio fountains shooting. He is 41-year-old 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, known publicly known YouTube vlogger SinCity-MannyWise. Ruiz turned himself in at a Henderson police station on Monday morning, according to Metropolitan Police Department press release. He was arrested on two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.

But Ruiz was identified hours earlier by astute social media users in a livestream posted by YouTube vlogger Finny Da Legend from the Bellagio fountains. We can’t imbed that footage since it is age-restricted. However, here’s a link.

In the disturbing clip, taken just before 11 p.m. June 8, Finny is seen livestreaming backdropped by the Las Vegas Strip as the Clash’s “Rock the Casbah” plays over a public speaker system.

In the crowd walking behind him can be seen the man who, in 10 more seconds, would become his assassin.

At first, Ruiz walks behind his target without even glancing in his direction.

Suddenly, we hear Finny’s female partner confronting Ruiz, though the view of the confrontation is blocked by Finny’s face still staring into the camera.

“Don’t you bring your ass over here and start no shit!” she yells.

As Finny moves out of frame to flee, we see his partner in Ruiz’s face, not frightened by the gun in his left hand and trying to save Finny’s life.

As she defiantly screams “No!” Finny tries de-escalating the situation by asking: “Hey, what’s up bra?”

Less than a second after Finny gets the question out, we witness Ruiz take two shots and Finny scream in pain, followed by five more shots in rapid succession.

As the shots are fired, Finny’s partner screams: “Are you fucking kidding me?!”

After the fifth shot, Finny’s partner rushes to aid him, dislodging the camera from its tripod.

As the camera falls to the ground, we hear two more shots followed by the sound of a baby crying.

Possible Beef Origins

On Saturday, Ruiz filmed himself driving up and down the Strip, apparently searching for his victim and addressing him cryptically.

“I went through every fucking casino there is,” he says in this clip. “I heard there’s one of my biggest fans here in fucking town. I’m dying to see him. I’m fucking DYING to see him.

You come to my city and think I’m not going to show up? You fucking think I’m not going to show up? I should have been the first one to be told, right?”

“Wherever you go, I will be there.”

Finny, whose channel has barely more than 3K subscribers, taunted Ruiz in several videos, including this 2024 cilp in which he accused Ruiz of getting several videos removed YouTube.

But it is this video, posted by Finny five days ago, that may have crossed a line. In it, Finny and a friend mock Ruiz’s female partner while showing a still frame of her from behind.

“Look at how when you get to the ass, it curves inward,” Finny says. “A ass is supposed to curve outward, hers curves inward. She got a in bootie.”

Police reported finding two victims lying on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds and took the assailant into custody.

“Our officers rendered medical aid to both victims, but their efforts to save their lives were unsuccessful and both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene,” Undersheriff Andrew Walsh said in a statement.
