How many tiers does DraftKings Dynasty Rewards have?

DraftKings Dynasty Rewards is officially made up of five distinct tiers. It starts at Bronze, which you’re automatically enrolled for, and works up to the ultra-exclusive Onyx tier. Below I’ll examine the tier levels and how to accrue your Tier Credits to hit the highest levels for yourself.

When you register, you are automatically enrolled as a Bronze tier member, meaning you can earn Crowns and redeem them for site credit and DFS contest entries. You will stay in the Bronze level until you accrue 5,000 Tier Credits, and then you’ll hit Silver, the level I think the rewards start to pick up. You’ve proven your loyalty is more than that of a beginner. At the Silver tier, you’ll begin to earn the popular DraftKings weekly chests with prizes like 100,000 Crowns, an Apple Watch, or a VR headset.

You’ll need 125,000 Tier Credits to hit the next level, Gold. Hopefully, you’ll feel some balance as Dynasty Gold members earn 20% more Crowns for every bet placed or game played. Additionally, you can access priority customer service here, which is an excellent and helpful feature.

After Gold comes the Diamond level, which you’ll need to earn 500,000 Tier Credits to access. All the perks I’ve outlined are included alongside some incredibly impressive add-ons, like priority customer service and exclusive live experiences access, such as tickets to sports games and UFC box seats.

Finally, it’s time to discuss the ultra-exclusive Onyx tier. While many online casinos have the highest level as invite-only, Onyx is open to anyone who hits the target of a vast one million Crowns. Currently, you can’t use points earned with the program at DraftKings retail locations, which I found pretty disappointing. I’d like to see retail rewards added in the future and the ability for players to redeem points at DraftKings sportsbook locations around the US.

Another feature I’d like to see added is, where available, integration between DraftKings Dynasty Rewards and the new pari-mutuel advance deposit wagering racebook, DK Horse. You can’t use DK Dollars for pari-mutuel wagers on DK Horse, and you won’t earn any DK Crowns for your horse racing wagers, either. As a keen horse racing bettor, I found this equally disappointing.

The most common way to spend DK Crowns is by converting them to DK Dollars, which you can essentially exchange for bonus site credit. You can then use these credits on the DraftKings online casino and sportsbook for wagers and bonus spins. Since DraftKings’ offering varies depending on the state, in some places, like New Jersey, you can use your earnings on the DraftKings online casino, sports wagering, or DFS. In others, you’ll only be able to use them on DFS.

Nonetheless, DraftKings compensates for the lack of in-person and horse racing rewards with some pretty cool experiences available at the Dynasty Rewards Store. You can exchange your Crowns for credits that can be used to claim prizes like headphones, luxury cookware, and more. Once you progress through the tiers, you can use your rewards for real-life perks like merch, experiences like a round of golf at St Andrews and truffle hunting in Italy, and even an electric motorbike, Be prepared, though – you’ll need a lot of Crowns to earn these special prizes.

While there are some drawbacks and some restrictions to how you can use your rewards points, overall, DraftKings does a good job of providing a mix of bet credits and real-life rewards with its program. While I’d like to see some more elements of the DraftKings gambling product, including its retail sportsbooks and horse racing book, added to Dynasty Rewards, I think this will happen in the future and will make it among the best programs available.
