Here’s a little something you didn’t know about Excalibur Hotel & Casino. The hotel is the single biggest purchaser of Cornish game hens in the United States.

Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas — “The Conical Spires” would not make a bad band name.

A little random? Not really. Cornish game hens are served at the hotel’s show, Tournament of Kings, which has been performed thousands of times since the show opened in 1990.

Jousting. Damsels. British accents. Eating with your hands. What’s not to love?

I sure wish Steve Wynn could have made the deal to buy the "Mandalay Mile" in 2007/2008. I've read that Wynn has always had an interest in Excalibur, toured it just before it opened and built Treasure Island in such a manner that it would be a complimentary property, rather than a direct competitor.
