Funzpoints Casino Review 2026

Alexander Korsager
Alexander Korsager

Funzpoints has been running as a browser-only sweepstakes casino since 2019, and in a market where new brands launch monthly, that kind of staying power says something. I spent time testing the platform across desktop and mobile to see whether Funzpoints' pitch of free-to-play Standard mode plus a real-money-eligible Premium mode, all built on in-house games instead of licensed slots, is worth it.

Funzpoints Casino at a glance

Funzpoints is a legitimate sweepstakes casino. It operates under the standard sweepstakes/social-casino model (no purchase necessary to enter or win), which is why it doesn't hold a traditional gambling license. That's expected for this business model, not a red flag. Funzpoints has been operating since 2019 under Woopla Inc., uses SSL encryption for payment and account data, and requires identity verification (name, address, date of birth) before a first prize redemption.

Standard and Premium modes

Here’s where I take issue with Funzpoints: the casino features two modes: Standard and Premium. Standard is the social, free-to-play version where you don’t have to purchase coins to play. In the free version, you’re bombarded with ads. Sure, you can earn tickets for the nightly jackpot draw, which, if you’re lucky, will get you free Funzpoints. The Premium mode of play removes the ads and lets you redeem coins for cash. But if you simply want to play in Standard mode, you’ll be forced to endure ads. Moreover, compared with a large-catalog, provider-led sweepstakes casino, Funzpoints' bonus suite reads as intentionally minimal. Chumba Casino, for instance, similarly runs on in-house games and keeps its promotional calendar simple, while Chanced Casino, another sweepstakes brand I’ve tested and really like, leans more heavily into daily login streaks and social giveaways. Funzpoints sits closer to Chumba's model of a short list of recurring, easy-to-understand mechanics (wheel spin, nightly draw, mail-in entry) rather than a sprawling promotions page. The games run on Funzpoints’ parent company’s proprietary software, so the big developer names like Hacksaw and Relax Gaming are missing. There’s also a lack of table games and live dealer titles.

Pros

  • Low $20 minimum redemption threshold (2,000 Premium Funzpoints)
  • No-purchase entry to both Standard and Premium modes
  • Fast redemption processing once verified; debit card payouts in around 30 minutes
  • Mobile-optimized browser experience; works across desktop, phone, and tablet on one account

Cons

  • Only a handful of the 100+ games are unlocked in Standard mode without a purchase
  • No live chat; email, FAQ, and callback support only

Funzpoints Casino bonuses

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

“Funzpoints keeps its sign-up offer simple, which I do appreciate. But, it's not the flashiest welcome bonus on record, and it will leave some players hungry for coins. You get 1,000 Standard Funzpoints and 250 Premium Funzpoints. This is way less than what’s offered at sites like Crown Coins Casino (100,000 Crown Coins + 75 SC). There's no dizzying array of promo codes to track, just a welcome offer, a wheel spin every three hours, and a nightly draw.”

Pros

  • No-purchase welcome bonus: 1,000 Standard Funzpoints + 250 Premium Funzpoints for completing your profile
  • FunzWheel spin every 3 hours for Standard Funzpoints and jackpot Tickets free
  • Nightly Daily Jackpot Draw awards Premium Funzpoints to 100 selected winners
  • Mail-in bonus offers 500 Premium Funzpoints and 10 Tickets at no cost

Cons

  • VIP program is a $4.99/month paid subscription rather than a loyalty ladder earned through play
  • Purchase-unlocked game access expires after 30 days, requiring a repeat purchase to keep full library

Daily rewards with the FunzWheel

Funzpoints' daily-engagement loop centers on the FunzWheel (spinnable every 3 hours, not once-daily) and Tickets earned through play. These feed into a nightly Daily Jackpot Draw at 10:00 PM EST, where 100 players are selected to win free Premium Funzpoints.
  • FunzWheel: spin every 3 hours for free Standard Funzpoints + Tickets
  • Daily Jackpot Draw: nightly at 10:00 PM EST, 100 winners receive free Premium Funzpoints
  • Trophy Room: unlocked once you play in Premium mode; additional rewards accrue based on activity

Referrals, mail-in bonus, and VIP program

Funzpoints Casino does something that I’ve never seen before, which is to offer a VIP subscription instead of a true tiered VIP program. It’s $4.99 per month, and I don’t think it’s worth it for casual players. Why spend money for something that other casinos like Pulsz do for free? There’s also a referral bonus, mail-in bonuses, and a Trophy Room. The Trophy Room unlocks in Premium mode and seems more in line with a loyalty program since you’re rewarded for your play. Plus, it doesn’t cost $4.99 each month.
  • Referral bonus: refer a friend and receive an undisclosed bonus (amount is not revealed until a successful referral occurs); a unique referral link must be requested from support
  • Mail-in bonus: send a handwritten postal letter to request 500 Premium Funzpoints + 10 Tickets
  • VIP subscription: $4.99/month, which is very bizarre since most sweepstakes casinos provide VIP programs for free once you hit certain milestones
  • Trophy room: unlocked in Premium mode, with rewards accrued based on play activity

"If you were to subscribe to the VIP scheme for a year, you’d be spending $59.88 at a social casino which is supposed to offer free play. Think really hard before you shell out any cash towards it or at least subscribe for one month ($4.99) and see if it’s something you truly need. Chances are, you don’t."

100+ games made in-house

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

“Funzpoints' entire game library is built in-house by Woopla Inc. You won't find familiar third-party studio names here, for better or worse. That gives the games a distinct visual identity, but it also means less variety and no independent testing certification tied to a known provider. Plus, the 100+ game library is also tiny compared to the 3,500+ titles available at Stake Casino.”

Pros

  • Distinct, proprietary visual style not replicated at other sweepstakes casinos
  • Fast load times and smooth in-game performance
  • Can play for free in Standard mode (with limited titles)
  • Paintball Keno game not offered anywhere else

Cons

  • No table games or live dealer games, unlike Chanced Casino
  • Lack of transparency around testing, RNGs, and game audits in general

Software provided by Woopla Inc.

Because Woopla Inc. develops every title itself, there is no external software-provider list to feature, the entire lobby is proprietary. This is a meaningful differentiation point for players like me, hoping to see familiar names like Pragmatic Play or Hacksaw Gaming on other sweepstakes sites. While most sweepstakes platforms, like LoneStar Casino, post information about their third-party game testing, RNG audits, and even RTPs, this information is nowhere to be found at Funzpoints. This is a huge knock against the casino. New accounts default into Standard mode with limited game access. To unlock the full 100+ title library, you'll need either a Standard Funzpoints purchase or enough Premium Funzpoints to play in Premium mode. I’ll add that to the list of knocks against the casino as well since you’ll only get access to 10 games when you first sign up in Standard mode.

Payments and coin purchases at Funzpoints

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

"Funzpoints promises debit card redemptions in under 30 minutes. This is one of its best features. I requested a redemption, and I can attest to the 30-minute claim. The money hit my account in 27 minutes! While the redemptions are quick, the coin package pricing isn't the best. For instance, Chanced Casino offers packages starting at $1, unlike Funzpoints' $4.99."

Pros

  • Straightforward card-based purchasing (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Fast payout on debit card redemptions after KYC verification (~30 minutes)
  • Low $20 minimum cash-out threshold
  • 1x playthrough on Premium Funzpoints redemptions

Cons

  • Limited deposit method variety; no PayPal, crypto, or e-wallet options
  • Coin packages start at $4.99 unlike Chanced Casino ($1)

What’s the redemption process like at Funzpoints?

  • Playthrough requirement: Premium Funzpoints must be played through at least once before becoming redeemable (Daily Jackpot Draw winnings are exempt from this requirement)
  • Minimum threshold: 2,000 qualifying Premium Funzpoints (= $20)
  • Payout method: Bank Transfer, Instant Debit, or supported debit card, processed through the in-account Funzwallet

Coin value: What are Premium Funzpoints worth?

Premium Funzpoints redeem at a fixed rate of 100 Premium Funzpoints = $1. When you hit the 2,000 threshold ($20) and meet the 1x playthrough, you’re eligible for a redemption paid out via debit card or bank transfer. I played through my Premium Funzpoints once and then requested a redemption to my debit card. Funzpoints promises a 30-minute redemption time for debit, and I received mine in 27 minutes.

Standard Funzpoints vs Premium Funzpoints

Generally, sweepstakes platforms operate with Sweeps Coins (SC) and Gold Coins (GC). GC are what you use to play for free and are the equivalent of Standard Funzpoints. SC are what you can redeem for cash and are the same as Premium Funzpoints.

No purchase necessary mail-in option

Sweepstakes law requires all casinos operating under this model to offer players different ways to get free coins, or in this case, Funzpoints. You can send a handwritten request in the form of a postcard or letter to Funzpoints, and you’ll receive 500 Premium Funzpoints and 10 Tickets for free. What sets Funzpoints apart from other sweepstakes operators like RealPrize Casino is that you’re not capped on the number of postcards/letters you can send in for free Premium Funzpoints. As long as you wait five business days between hitting up the post office, you can basically mail in redemption requests weekly.

No app: Mobile-optimized site instead

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

“Because there's no app, Funzpoints' ‘mobile experience’ is really just its responsive website. Although it does the job and there are no ads in Premium Mode, I’m a bit disappointed by the site's overall look. It’s very dated and reminds me of something that was made in the early 2000s. If you’re not someone who cares about aesthetics and just want a site that works, Funzpoints will do the job. If you prefer something that resembles a more fun and current casino-like environment, then I suggest trying a different brand altogether, like McLuck Casino, which has iOS and Android apps and looks great.”

Pros

  • Fully responsive layout works on desktop, phone, and tablet
  • Fast load times, no lag or glitching, adapts to different device sizes
  • Full account functionality on mobile (purchasing, redemptions, etc.)
  • No ads when playing in Premium Mode

Cons

  • No native apps, a real limitation next to sweepstakes that do offer one (McLuck, Crown Coins)
  • Site could use a facelift; dated graphics and color scheme
The Funzpoints mobile-optimized site works, so that’s not an issue. However, I found the layout and graphics a bit distracting because it was so “old school” (not in a good way). Sweepstakes casinos have come a long way since their inception and when a brand doesn’t seem to put any effort into how it looks, it’s somewhat of a red flag for me.

Customer support at Funzpoints Casino

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

“The lack of live chat adds yet another knock on Funzpoints. If you look at other sweepstakes platforms like LoneStar or Hello Millions Casino, you’ll find live support. While email responses are quick and there is a detailed FAQ section, adding live chat to the support portal would really go a long way for players who are looking for answers ASAP.”

Pros

  • Email response times are quick; roughly 1–2 hours for straightforward questions
  • Searchable FAQ/help center covers common account and redemption questions
  • Phone support available; can leave a message with your question
  • You'll receive detailed responses to your email and phone queries

Cons

  • No live chat unlike LoneStar Casino
  • Very little activity on social channels

Support response times

To test out customer support, I tried every support channel possible. Email took the least amount of time, and I received an answer in under two hours. I sent another email with a more complex question about changing my email address, and it took three days to get an answer. I called the toll-free number and left a message requesting a callback. It took almost two days to get a return call, but the agent was professional and able to help. I will say that all the responses I did get were extremely detailed and helpful, so I'll give Funzpoints credit for that.

Funzpoints’ responsible gambling tools

Practicing responsible gambling is something that I push all players to do. At Funzpoints, you will need to contact support to set any limits or time-outs for your account. I didn’t find any links to help lines on the homepage, but they are there on the brand's Responsible Gaming page.

How to register for Funzpoints

Alexander Korsager New Headshot
Alexander's take

“Generally, on sites like Funzpoints, signing up takes no time. I registered quickly, with the welcome bonus split cleanly between an instant no-purchase portion and a profile-completion portion. The full 250 Premium Funzpoints bonus isn't available until your profile fields are filled in. I suggest you complete KYC when you sign up in case you go through your free Funzpoints quickly and decide to make a coin purchase. It'll also save you time when you want to make a redemption.”
