Casino mogul Steve Wynn is widely known for his role in helping to turn Las Vegas into the gambling destination it is today. It's been a rocky few weeks for Wynn after the revelation of sexual harassment allegations and now he’s finally stepped down as Wynn Resorts Chairman and CEO.
So just how much do we actually know about the man behind the Wynn Resorts brand?
Wynn graduated from The Manlius School in Syracuse, New York.

The claims allege Wynn pressured workers into having sex with him and that The Mirage's employment policy stated waitresses were forced to lose weight if they gained more than 6 lb. In 2018, the Las Vegas Review-Journal would publish the full details of the lawsuit it was going to run 20 years earlier.
Wynn introduces a little bit of Las Vegas to Biloxi in Mississippi, when he opens the Mediterranean-themed Beau Rivage.
Wynn's Mirage Resorts is sold to MGM Grand Inc. for a price of $6.6 billion to form MGM Mirage.
This was the year identified by one of Wynn's alleged sexual harassment victims when the billionaire pressured the then manicurist to take off her clothes, lie on the massage table, and have sex with him. She is eventually paid $7.5 million for keeping quiet about the incident.
Wynn enters the Macau market when he opens the Wynn Macau. Just a few years later it would become just the fifth Macau resort to win a Mobil five-star award.
