- The massive LPM Restaurant & Bar at Cosmopolitan will permanently shutter in March
- A third Hello Kitty Café is currently under construction at the Caesars Forum Shops
- Two popular restaurants were temporarily closed by health inspectors
LPM Restaurant & Bar will close at the Cosmopolitan on March 29, 2026. The upscale French and Mediterranean eatery opened in November 2023 in the humongous space with the Strip terrace created when the Greek restaurant Estiatorio Milos bailed to The Venetian in 2020.

“We are grateful to the staff at LPM for delivering first-class hospitality and cuisine to our guests night after night,” Jessica Somple, Cosmo’s VP of food and beverage, said in a media statement.
LPM’s Vegas location only managed to attract a national spotlight for an awkward reason. Last May, an obviously comped social media influencer earned more than 5 million hate-watches (judging from the comments) by raving about an LPM appetizer that was nothing more than a raw tomato requiring diners to slice it themselves. (In LPM’s defense, the appetizer was free.)
No replacement has been announced.
Dining Ins & Outs
Ace Dragon Wok is gone after only five months at TI (Treasure Island). The Pan-Asian eatery, which took over the the Las Vegas Yacht Club space on Sept. 1, 2025, announced its departure with a same-day social media note on Jan. 27. (Note: No restaurant closure announcement is a sign of things going well. However, same-day closure announcements are especially not a sign of that.)

The Las Vegas Strip is about to get its third Hello Kitty Café. A pink construction wall on the second floor of The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace gives away its unannounced location, along with a sign reading “Coming Soon in 2026.” The $1.6 million project from Japanese entertainment giant Sanrio will join sister locations at The Park (open since July 2019) and the Fashion Show Mall (since July 2022).
When the popular Blue Martini bar and restaurant closed at Town Square last July, its owners already knew they would reopen in a bigger and better spot. A lease had already been signed to take over the old Urban Outfitters space in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, and plans were leaked as far back as August 2023. However, significant delays in the project’s $9 million construction have pushed the opening to this spring.
Ciao Vino will close on March 28. The Italian restaurant had only been open for 18 months, taking over the 4,000 square-foot space in Summerlin’s Boca Park shopping center vacated by Bella Vita in April 2024.
