Chances Maple Ridge is the first dedicated sports betting lounge housed within The Well Public House. The lounge is marked by a 25-foot TV screen that can broadcast up to eight games at once.

This is the third such sportsbook lounge to open in the province – the first two being PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge at Parq Casino in Vancouver and Chances Casino Kelowna.

A fourth is scheduled to be opened later in June at the Casino of the Rockies in Cranbrook, according to a BCLC statement.

Pregame and Live Sports Betting

Casino.org reached out to BCLC for some details on the business reasoning for opening sportsbook lounges. In particular, the appetite among BC bettors for live, sports betting experiences.

“We are thrilled to open the new PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge at Chances Maple Ridge,” the BCLC told us, adding the facility has “wall-to-wall displays and three PROLINE sports betting terminals which will complement the casino experience for players in Maple Ridge and across the Fraser Valley.”

Fourth Sportsbook Lounge Set to Open in June

“BCLC is committed to creating exciting experiences for our dedicated sports bettors in British Columbia, including through the launch of sportsbook lounges at select BC casinos,” the organization added.

The BCLC said it plans to open additional lounges throughout the province in the coming months. “In addition to the sportsbook lounges located in Vancouver, Kelowna, and now Maple Ridge, BCLC has plans to introduce future sportsbook lounges at other casinos around the province and will share additional details about future locations closer to their launch.”

Besides the TV screen, Chances Maple Ridge will have three self-serve PROLINE betting terminals on site.
