The Backstreet (former) Boys have added what they say are the “final run” of summer dates for their “Into the Millennium” residency at the Sphere. But it’s only the final run because there are no more summer weekends for them to play in 2026 after Aug. 27, 28 and 29, not because they’re pulling the plug on show business’ most lucrative performing opportunity anytime soon.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale 10 a.m. PT Tuesday, March 17 to fan club members, then 10 a.m. PT Friday March 20 to the general public at BackstreetBoys.com. Those who previously registered for the artist presale can buy tickets starting 10 a.m. PT Wednesday, March 18.

Sphere in the Pink?

Britain’s The Sun is reporting that Pink has landed an “historic multimillion-pound residency” at the Sphere after CEO James Dolan “pulled out all the stops” to sign her.

While the residency — which would make the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee the first female pop act to headline the globular wonder — makes perfect sense. However, The Sun is known for speculating on entertainment deals that make sense reported to them by “anonymous sources.”

Previously, the Sun reported Harry Styles, Lady Gaga and Coldplay as Sphere “locks.” So while Pink may indeed perform there, it’s not necessarily because the tabloid had any insider info.

Extension Rod

Rod Stewart announced on Monday six additional dates for his “The Encore Shows” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace: Aug. 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, and 29.

Rod the Mod has performed more than 200 concerts over 13 years at the 4,300-seat theater.

Presales start tomorrow 10 a.m. PT Tuesday, March 17 via Ticketmaster,  ahead of a general sale 10 a.m. Friday, March 20.

J.Lo Not So Much on the Floor

Speaking of questionable media reports, both Page Six and TMZ thought that Jennifer Lopez nearly falling onstage during her Colosseum residency last weekend warranted headlines — especially since the Friday the 13th “incident” occurred during her performance of “On the Floor.”

But Jenny from the Block — who briefly lost her footing while attempting a kick — has earned enough bad press for her second Vegas residency, and we think the real story is that she quickly recovered without missing a beat.
