Luke Combs announced Wednesday that he will open the second location of his successful Category 10 restaurant, bar and live country music venue in the Flamingo street frontage occupied until April 2024 by Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.

When it opens next fall, the Nashville success story will be the Strip’s third nearly identical venue competing to attract National Finals Rodeo fans with nearly identical offerings. (Blake Shelton‘s Ole Red opened in January 2024 in front of the Horseshoe, followed by Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar just north of the Cosmopolitan in December 2024.)

Combs is even partnering with Opry Entertainment Group, the hospitality company that really runs Ole Red.
“I am stoked about having a second Category 10 location in Las Vegas,” Aldean said in a statement, adding that 2026 “was already going to be an awesome year, but this takes it to the next level.”
Category 10 — a name inspired by Combs’ 2016 hit, “Hurricane” — will feature 34,000 square feet divvied up amongst three floors. On the first will be the main dining area, Hurricane Hall, which will also feature three bars, a stage and a dance floor. The Still will be the second-floor bar and the Eye Rooftop will feature a DJ booth, dance floor and bar.
Which, of course, makes it sound completely different from the honky tonks-slash-downhome-Southern eateries already trading on Blake Shelton’s and Jason Aldean’s licensed names.
Though he may be late to this party, Combs does have the most cultural currency of the three right now.
The first act ever to headline both the Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza music festivals, and the first country artist to headline three consecutive nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, he is set to kick off his world tour next March at Las Vegas’ 70,000-seat Allegiant Stadium.

NADC Burger, which had a 90-day pop-up at Resorts World, will soon open permanently at the Tony @ Carson building at 124 S. 6th St. downtown, home to Carson Kitchen. From pro skateboarder Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee (he of the Michelin-starred Scratch Restaurants Group), NADC (for “Not a Damn Chance”) will occupy the former Bocho Downtown Sushi space, according to Vital Vegas, which also reports that Picanha Steak Restaurant is opening its second Vegas location at Tony @ Carson, in the former Carl’s Donuts space.

The venue, which opened in June 2024, offered immersive experiences where guests used their bodies as controllers — no headsets or gadgets required. Its Albuquerque-based parent company filed in US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada, listing $1 million to $10 million in assets and liabilities. The filing did not specify a reason.
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, one of the 10 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the US (according to the data firm Technomic), has opened its 10th Las Vegas location and first on the Strip: a concession stand at T-Mobile Arena.
