Golden Nugget Online Gaming Opens Its Casino Doors in Ontario

Golden Nugget Online Gaming announced the launch of its online and mobile casino in Ontario on Wednesday, making it the latest brand to join a crowded Ontario marketplace.
Powered by DraftKings’ technology platform, the Golden Nugget Online Gaming casino app is now available via iOS and Android mobile platforms. It features more than 2,000 slot titles and a wide selection of table games, including blackjack, roulette, and craps.
According to iGaming Ontario, there are currently 50 licensed operators, and 87 gaming websites live in the province.
Ontario is the Fifth Jurisdiction Where App is Available
The Ontario market is a massive one when it comes to online casino.
According to June financial data, also provided by iGaming Ontario, online casino dominates. Casino has an 88% market share in cash wagers, with CA$6.4 billion. Online casino generated CA$243 million in NAGGR that month.
Overall, according to iGaming Ontario, the province saw CA$7.26 billion in total cash wagers, a 10% month-over-month decrease in June. Revenue came in at CA$307 million, a 9% month-over-month decrease.
Golden Nugget Online Gaming was acquired by DraftKings Inc. in 2022 and was the first online gaming company to bring Live Dealer and Live Casino Floor to the US online gaming market.

Ontario is the fifth jurisdiction where the Golden Nugget Online Gaming casino app is available. Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia are the others.
Via the Golden Nuggets app, Ontario players can access popular favourites like Huff N’ More Puff, Cleopatra, and Hypernova Megaways, with jackpots exceeding $1 million. Exclusive DraftKings games are also available over the platform, such as Rocket, Dollar Up, and Quakey Shakey.
