- Fontainebleau Las Vegas says changes make its loyalty plan most rewarding on the Strip
- Lowers coin in required for one point to $2.50 from $5
Fontainebleau Las Vegas today announced changes to its namesake loyalty program that the operator says make it the most rewarding on the Strip for slots players.

Under the new terms offered by Fontainebleau Rewards, patrons will earn a Play Point for each $2.50 of coin into a gaming machine, down from the previous requirement of $5. That makes the North Strip casino hotel the market leader in earned visible slot play, according to the operator. The announcement coincides with the rollout of “Fontainebleau Cash Back.”
‘Fontainebleau Cash Back’ will have multiple redemption periods throughout the year. For every 5,000 Play Points earned on slots, Fontainebleau Rewards members will receive $20 in cash that can be redeemed at the casino cage. The program’s first redemption period opens in December 2025,” according to a statement.
The press release didn’t mention video poker, though most casino loyalty programs feature rewards that are comparable for slots and video poker play.
Fontainebleau Could Leverage Rewards for Resurgence
Casino rewards programs are known as prime customer acquisition and retention tools for operators. The easier-to-understand and more rewarding loyalty programs are, the more potent they can be in boosting operators’ top and bottom lines.
In the case of Fontainebleau, the revamped loyalty plan could be a tool in luring more customers to a casino resort that’s struggled to find its footing. Since opening in 2023, the venue has faced an array of headwinds and last week, it was reported as many as 60 table game dealers there could be sacked.
The North end of the Strip has a knack for weighing on operators and that location predicament is amplified for Fontainebleau because it’s near comparable venues Resorts World and Wynn and Encore. Among high-end North Strip casino hotels, only the Wynn Resorts’ properties have established long-term success.
It remains to be seen if the rewards program revamp pays dividend for Fontainebleau, but it’s possible. Fontainebleau Rewards features four tiers — Bleau, Silver, Gold, and Royal.
More Fontainebleau Rewards Details
In addition to now offering the most enticing slots rewards on the Strip, Fontainebleau Rewards has long had one of the most generous programs when it comes to non-gaming spending, rewarding customers with five cents worth of points for each dollar spent on non-gaming activities.
Fontainebleau Rewards members can also earn up to 30% of rooms, 5% back on dining, late checkouts and free self- and valet parking. Gold and Royal members also get their resort fees waived. The operator also extended its activity window.
“Additionally, the previous 13-month activity window has been extended. No Fontainebleau Rewards members’ points will expire until Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, allowing for rewards members to redeem points that may have expired previously,” according to the press release.

5,000 points at $2.50 per point and you get $20!?!
It would help a lot more if they did away with 000 and 6/5 games. Throwing a few crumbs to the suckers who play these games and the tight slots won’t help much.
