- Powerball jackpot had hit USD $1.8 billion
- Jackpot now re-sets to $20 million
- Jackpot was the second-largest ever won
Two tickets, sold in Missouri and Texas, matched all six numbers in last night’s Powerball draw, and will split the USD $1.787 billion jackpot.

One-Time Payment
The winning numbers? White balls 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, and red Powerball 17. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
Each winner can choose either an annuitized prize of USD $893.5 million or a lump sum payment of $410.3 million, both prize options before taxes.
If the winner chooses the annuity option they will receive one immediate payment following 29 annual payments that increase 5 per cent event year.
$1.8 Billion Jackpot
That pot was the second-largest U.S. jackpot ever won. Topping the list was the world-record USD $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot win in California in 2022.
“Each $2 ticket sold during this Powerball jackpot run gave players a chance at the prize, while also supporting vital public programs and services in their communities,” said Matt Strawn, Powerball Product Group Chair and Iowa Lottery CEO.
Powerball is offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, overseen by the Multi-State Lottery Association.
The Powerball draw last night was the 42nd drawing since the jackpot was last won in California on May 31, 2025, a new game record for the longest jackpot run. With the big win, the Powerball jackpot resets to USD $20 million.
Jackpocket Statistics
Last week, before yesterday’s draw, Jackpocket sent out some interesting data on Powerball play, indicating the high level of fervour as the jackpot kept getting bigger and bigger.
On Wednesday, Powerball ticket sales on Jackpocket increased over 130% day over day. States such as Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey had the highest volume in Powerball ticket orders using Jackpocket for this Powerball run.
“Moments like this $1.7 billion Powerball jackpot represent some of the most exciting times for Jackpocket as attention and interest in the lottery surge. We built Jackpocket, a lottery courier company, with the mission to provide millions of customers a simple, convenient, and secure way to order their tickets right from home while helping state lotteries generate added revenue,” said Pete Sullivan, SVP, Lottery at DraftKings.
