The Strip’s worst-kept musical secret is finally out. The Zac Brown Band, whose titular singer has been blabbing about an upcoming Las Vegas Sphere residency since last May — most recently during this year’s American Music Awards — finally had it confirmed by the globular wonder Tuesday morning.

Why the Las Vegas Sphere, which is beyond tight-lipped regarding its upcoming schedule, didn’t cancel its commitment to the Zac Brown Band for insubordination is anyone’s guess. (Image: Tyler Lord via Sphere Entertainment

The Atlanta-based country rock combo will play the Sphere on December 5-6 and 12-13, 2025, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo.

“This show is a journey through my imagination, music, and stories that have defined who I am,” Brown said in a statement. “All of this brought to life in the incredible immersive environment of Sphere.”

Brown has sold more than 10 million albums and routinely performs in similarly sized venues, most recently in Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in April 2023.

His band’s seventh studio album will drop on the mini-residency’s opening night. “Love & Fear” will feature collaborations with Snoop Dogg and Dolly Parton. Since Parton is already performing at Caesars Palace on all of Brown’s dates, it’s likely that the country superstar will drop in for an encore at least once.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am Friday, July 25 via ZacBrownBand.com. Presales for fan club members start at 10 am Monday, July 21.

DJ Snake will headline September 19th’s previously announced UNITY Sphere residency show, which will also feature Chase & Status, Kaskade, and Eli Brown. The series is booked for August 29-31, September 19-20 and 26-27, and October 17-18.

“Some moments are bigger than differences,” DJ Snake says in a statement. “This show is one of them.”

Tickets for the series are on sale now, though UNITY’s opening weekend is sold out.

Headliners for the last five shows will be announced in the coming weeks.

Clarkson Apologizes to Wrong Crowd

One week after abruptly canceling the first two dates of her new Caesars Palace residency, Kelly Clarkson apologized in person to an audience consisting mostly of people whose Vegas vacations she didn’t ruin by blowing her voice out during rehearsals.

“It took me a minute. I’m so sorry,” she told the Colosseum crowd on July 11. “We can’t help our bodies sometimes. You know, we get sick, and that happens. But thank y’all for showing up.”

Later in the show, the “Piece by Piece” singer added: “I cried. I was so sick. It sucked. I’m so happy to be here.”
