Mary J. Blige will launch her first‑ever Las Vegas residency in 2026, a 10‑show run titled “Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story” at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The dates are May 1, 2, 6, 8, 9 and July 10, 11, 15, 17, 18.

Blige enters this new chapter with the same momentum that has defined her three‑decade career. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024, released her 15th studio album, Gratitude, in 2024, and completed a top‑grossing 2025 arena tour that sold more than 270,000 tickets.
Her résumé remains unmatched: nine Grammy Awards, multiple American Music and Billboard Music Awards, more than 80 million records sold, and Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for her 2017 performance in “Mudbound.”
Blige announced the residency on NBC’s “Today” show on Monday, the morning after her 55th birthday. She told co-host Craig Melvin the residency is “major” for her and emphasized that the production will be more theatrical than a standard concert, incorporating actors and narrative elements while still delivering the hits.
Much O’ Blige
The residency arrives more than 30 years after Blige’s 1992 debut, What’s the 411?, the album that introduced “Real Love” and “You Remind Me” and cemented her as the Queen of Hip‑Hop Soul. Her catalog since then — “Family Affair,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” “Be Without You,” and dozens more — remains foundational to modern R&B.
Blige framed the residency as a chance to gather fans “from all over… to experience something together,” promising surprises for longtime supporters.
Her Instagram announcement echoed the same excitement: “Vegas, are you ready? I am so excited to announce my first ever Las Vegas residency… See you in May!”
Blige’s last Vegas appearance was on February 28, 2025 at T‑Mobile Arena, as part of her “For My Fans” tour with Ne‑Yo and Mario, but this residency marks her first extended Strip engagement.
