TAPPP and BetMGM Launch Sportsbook-Branded Gift Cards in Ontario

BetMGM has become the first igaming operator in Canada to offer branded retail gift cards for sports betting and online casino enthusiasts.
99% Redemption
TAPPP, the payment solutions provider, with a retail network covering the U.S. and Canada, has partnered up with BetMGM, with BetMGM gift cards now available across 2,500 retail locations in Ontario.
The gift card allows BetMGM players to fund their sportsbook and online casino accounts securely via PIN redemption.
2,500 Retail Locations
BetMGM gift cards already are available in the U.S., launched in September 2021 via a partnership with TAPPP. The cards are distributed in retailers across 15 states. TAPPP says BetMGM gift cards have a 99% redemption rate in the U.S.

First iGaming Gift Cards
A $250 weekly deposit limit applies for players using prepaid gift cards in Ontario.
BetMGM has a 7% market share in Ontario, according to H2 Gambling Capital, the global specialist gambling sector market data provider.
H2 utilizes sources like web traffic, affiliate traffic and search volume data to estimate market size and growth rates in regulated markets where there is no official data.
