The Ontario igaming market marches on in its growth with the news that AbsoluteBet Corp. has secured an Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) license to start up operations.

Ontario Licensed Operators Now At 50
As reported in Gaming America, and confirmed after a look on the AGCO’s license search platform, AbsoluteBet was issued a license Aug. 27 and are working through the next stage before going live – signing an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, which manages the commercial relationship with operators.
A quick scan on iGaming Ontario’s list of live operators shows that number still at 50, with 87 gaming websites currently live in the province.
Still, Ontario-based AbsoluteBet coming on board shows that the Ontario market continues on an upward growth trajectory, despite the market maturing.
On its website, AbsoluteBet says it has a “special focus on Ontario”, managing licensed online casinos.
Evoplay Signs On With Caesars
Evoplay took another step towards expanding its Canadian presence with the announcement of a partnership with Caesars Entertainment in Ontario.
The company made an official entry into the regulated Ontario igaming market in March, and announced a similar content deal with Rivalry earlier in August.
Through the new partnership with Caesars, 20 of its popular titles have been integrated into Caesars Palace Online Casino in Ontario, including Hot Triple Sevens, Triple Chili and The Greatest Catch Bonus Play. Ontario players can also check out Inner Fire Bonus Buy, Hot Volcano, Fruit Nova and Ice Mania.
