Rod Stewart is getting more practice canceling concerts lately than playing them. His spree of disappointment began just three hours before the June 1 show in in his ongoing second Caesars Palace residency was scheduled to start.

Stewart announced on Instagram that that he was “not feeling well” and that the concert would be rescheduled to June 10.
Next, Stewart canceled his June 5 concert and, on June 6, his performances on June 7, 8 and 10 — the last of which was the first one he rescheduled.
That makes a total of five scotched Las Vegas concerts.
“So sorry my friends,” Stewart posted to Instagram on June 6. “I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon.”
The cancelations have raised social media speculation about the 80-year-old rocker’s health.
On May 26, Stewart appeared fit while performing “Forever Young” at the American Music Awards, held at the Fontainebleau, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The “Maggie May” belter also canceled a June 12 concert at Agua Caliente Casino Spa in Rancho Mirage, California; a June 14 concert at the Harvey’s Lake Tahoe casino resort in Stateline, Nevada; and a June 15 concert in Paso Robles, Calif.
Only the Rancho Mirage and Paso Robles shows were rescheduled (to Sept. 20 and Sept. 21).

“ABBA Voyage,” a hit stage production currently playing in London, is headed for a custom-built 3,000-seat theater at Resorts World Las Vegas, at least according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Designed by the Walt Disney Company’s Industrial Light and Magic, the show features hyper-realistic CG-generated avatars of the 1970s Swedish pop group’s members (Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad) singing alongside a live 10-piece band.
It features 20 of their smash hits including “Dancing Queen,” “Fernando” and “Take a Chance on Me.”
The show — which celebrated its third anniversary on May 27 — took six years and approximately $175 million to develop, making it one of the most expensive live music experiences ever.
Celine Gets Warmplay

Celine Dion was warmly welcomed during a rare public appearance on Friday at Coldplay’s Allegiant Stadium concert. The “My Heart Will Go On” singer took to Instagram to thank her hosts.
“What an unforgettable evening,” she posted to Instagram on Saturday, in a post accompanied by photos of Dion and her sons (René-Charles Angélil and twins Nelson and Eddy Angélil) engaging in a backstage huddle with Chris Martin and his bandmates.
“A heartfelt thanks to the band and their amazing team for welcoming my family with warmth and kindness. It was all…fantastique,” she added. “My heart is still singing.”
Dion, 57, has limited her public appearances since her 2022 diagnosis with the rare and incurable neurological disorder Stiff Person’s Sayndome, which is characterized by progressive muscle stiffness and painful spasms.
Though she hasn’t performed a full concert since March 2020, she did perform one song at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in June 2024, and another two at the Elie Saab Fashion Show in Saudi Arabia in November 2024.
In each health update she gives her fans, she writes that she hopes to return to the stage soon.
