- Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg title fight headlines UFC 327 tonight in Miami
- Sportsbooks favouring Prochazka to take light heavyweight title
- Azamat Murzakanov by KO/TKO or DQ +200 a most bet prop at BetMGM
Jiri Prochazka is one of the UFC’s more unique fighters and heading into tonight’s UFC 327 light heavyweight title fight against Carlos Ulberg, that’s placing some doubt in the minds of bettors, looking at the breakdown at BetMGM.

UFC 327 Weigh-In Yesterday
Prochazka, who lost twice to Alex Pereira in the division (Pereira has vacated the title, moving up to heavyweight, opening up tonight’s bout in Miami), is -120 at Caesars Sportsbook. Ulberg is at +100. At BetMGM Prochazka is also favoured, at -120 (52% of bets, 33% of handle), after opening as a +115 underdog. Ulberg is at +100 for tonight (48% of bets, 67% of handle).
The light heavyweight belt has been vacant three times since Jon Jones left it for a heavyweight title in 2020. With Pereira out of the way, Prochazka, 33, 6-2 in the UFC, now has a chance to finally grab the 205-pound division belt.
Prochazka is wild, takes a lot of punishment, but also has devastating one-shot power, and likes to pressure his opponent. That recklessness can leave him exposed, though, especially with an opponent as technically proficient as Ulberg.
Most Bet Props
Interesting statistic for bettors looking at the fight, for Prochazka – 5.69 significant strikes landed per minute, and 5.60 significant strikes absorbed per minute. Prochazka takes a lot of punishent. Ulberg on the other hand – 6.54 significant strikes landed per minute, 4.04 significant strikes absorbed. Still, there is no stat that captures Prochazka’s resilience. That’s a difference-maker in this fight, for bettors.
Over his career, with Prochazka, though – 28 wins by knockout, 23 first-round finishes. Ulberg handling a motivated Prochazka over five rounds is a big ask, which is why bettors are leaning the Czech fighter.
“I believe I can show a much more precise performance and win the belt,” he told Sportsnet, adding he still wants another shot at Pereira someday, despite Pereira’s move to heavyweight.
Murzakanov by KO
According to BetMGM, Prochazka by KO/TKO or DQ +125 is their most bet prop (tickets), followed by Vicente Luque by Decision/Technical Decision +550 in his prelim middleweight bout versus Kelvin Gastelum, Francisco Prado by Decision/Technical Decision +900 in his prelim welterweight bout versus Charles Radtke, Josh Hokit by Decision/Technical Decision +550 in his main card heavyweight bout versus Curtis Blaydes, and Azamat Murzakanov by KO/TKO or DQ at +200 in his main card light heavyweight bout with Paulo Costa.
There are lots of eyes on the American Hokit (+100, 57% of bets, 79% of handle at BetMGM), in a heavyweight decision that’s looking for more talent. But he’s only had two UFC fights – wins over Denzel Freeman in January, and Max Gimenis last November, both by first round KOs. Blaydes (-120) is a 10-year UFC vet, though, and knows his way around the Octagon, having four champions Francis Ngannou and current title-holder Tom Aspinall in the past.
Murzakanov is -225 in his fight with Costa (+185, 69% of bets, 59% of handle), Dominick Reyes is -145 favourite in his light heavyweight bout with Johnny Walker at +120, and Cub Swanson versus Nate Landwehr in the featherweight division is a pick ’em at -110.
UFC 327 gets going at 9 p.m. EST tonight, at Kaseya Center in Miami.
