  • Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will fight a rematch in the Las Vegas Sphere’s first boxing event
  • While the rematch will stream live on Netflix for all subscribers, in-person tickets are expected to fetch $500-$3,500 and go on sale in late May 2026.

On September 19, 2026, the Sphere in Las Vegas will host its first-ever boxing fight, and Manny Pacquiao will finally get his chance at revenge. The rematch of “The Fight of the Century,” announced on Monday by Netflix Sports, officially pulls Mayweather out of a nine-year professional retirement.

Unlike numerous exhibition fights both have headlined recently, this bout is sanctioned as a professional fight — meaning Mayweather’s 50-0 record is legitimately on the line against the sport’s only eight-division world champion.

For the Sphere, the fight represents a significant technical undertaking. Promoters EverWonder Studio and CSI Sports have stated they will utilize the venue’s 160,000-square-foot interior LED screen to provide a 16K immersive broadcast experience, including real-time biometric data and high-definition punch stats visible to the 18,600 fans in attendance.

The logistics of the match signal a departure from the traditional pay-per-view structure that defined their 2015 “Fight of the Century.” This time, the fight will stream live globally on Netflix at no additional cost to its over 325 million subscribers.

Pricing for in-person tickets has not been announced by Sphere or Ticketmaster, but industry observers anticipate that entry-level “nosebleed” seats will likely start at $500, with mid-tier seats ranging from $1,500 to $3,500. Ringside and floor seats are projected to reach five-figure sums, potentially rivaling the $72 million live gate record set by the pair’s first encounter at the MGM Grand.

Tickets are likely to go on sale in late May.

Both fighters are using staying active leading up to the rematch. Pacquiao is scheduled to face Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round exhibition on April 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center. And Mayweather is preparing for an April 25 exhibition against Mike Tyson in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
