Thunderkick Expands North America Footprint with PointsBet Deal

With the Ontario market continuing to mature, online casino dominates, and licensed operators are constantly looking to boost product offerings for players to be more competitive. PointsBet Canada took another step forward in that direction, announcing a content deal with independent Swedish casino game studio Thunderkick.

Thunderkick will be launching titles like Carnival Queen 2, Midas Golden Touch 3, and Esqueleto Explosivo 3 under the PointsBet banner.

Stockholm Studio
Thunderkick, based in Stockholm, was established in 2012. The company now staffs 80 people working entirely in-house. Thunderkick’s games can be found at leading brands around the world, including Bet365, William Hill, LeoVegas, 888 Casino, Mr Green, PokerStars Casino, ComeOn, Unibet, and Betsson.

Jackpot Digital Picks Up Michigan License
It’s full steam ahead for Vancouver’s Jackpot Digital, the provider of dealerless electronic poker and table games. The company announced Thursday that its secured a supplier gaming license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board to operate its Jackpot Blitz poker electronic table games in the state.
Receiving our Michigan commercial license is a key milestone in our expansion,” said Jackpot Digital’s President and CEO Jake Kalpakian. “Michigan’s strong and dynamic gaming market is the perfect stage to introduce our advanced electronic tables to major operators. Their players want cutting-edge technology and seamless entertainment.”
Jackpot said in a statement that it plans to roll out initial installations in Detroit commercial casinos in the first quarter of 2026. The company is already licensed in Maine, Mississippi, and the US Virgin Islands, as well as in international markets. Jackpot holds licenses for tribal casinos in California, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, Montana, and Oregon.
Bragg Goes Live on Blaze
Toronto-based Bragg Gaming Group, the global iGaming content and technology supplier, announced that its gone live with its proprietary content on the Blaze platform in Brazil. That’s part of its ongoing expansion that started when the regulated market went live last January.
The launch includes 80 games, including regional favorites like Electric Jungle and Mighty Mountain.
“The sheer scale of this launch, featuring our entire certified library of around 80 games, ensures we are maximizing our reach in this critical market,” said Bragg Gaming Latin America Regional Director Sara Mosallaee. “Going live with Blaze directly supports our profitability goals and allows us to diversify our revenue stream through increasing the proportion generated via our proprietary and exclusive content.”
