Strive Gaming, the igaming tech provider based in Vancouver, has announced a new partnership with online casino operator PlayStar Casino, helping to fuel that company’s North American growth.

Canadian Expansion
PlayStar Casino is based in New Jersey, tied to Ocean Casino Resort, with over 1,500 games, including slots, blackjack, roulette, and live dealer games from Evolution.
Strive builds omni-channel platform that builds online casino and sports betting solutions for clients in the igaming space, with a focus on the North America market. Launched in 2020, Strive works with companies to help scale their operations.
Under the PlayStar agreement, Strive will provide its player account management (PAM) technology to the company, as PlayStar expands, including into regulated Canadian markets in Ontario and Alberta.
PAM Technology
“PlayStar is a highly ambitious operator with a clear vision for building one of the leading casino brands in North America,” said Max Meltzer, CEO at Strive Gaming. “They were looking for a platform partner that understands the realities of operating in the U.S. and Canada and can support them as they scale across multiple regulated markets.
Our focus on North America, combined with the strength and flexibility of our platform, made this a natural fit. Both companies are on strong growth journeys and share similar ambitions for the region, so we’re excited to support PlayStar as they continue to expand.”
Said Fredrik Liljewall, CEO at PlayStar: “As we continue to scale our presence across North America, selecting a platform partner with a strong regional focus and the ability to support our long-term ambitions was critical.
Strive’s technology, deep understanding of the North American market, and collaborative mindset made them the clear partner for PlayStar. We look forward to working closely together as we migrate our New Jersey operations and expand into additional jurisdictions, including Canada.”
Betty Content Deal
Betty, the Ontario-based online casino, focusing on slots, has announced a content deal with Gaming Corp., the Swedish-based casino content provider, first reported in Canadian Gaming Business.
The company has been active of late. According to media reporting, the company is expected to be one of the operators expanding into Alberta’s new regulated igaming market, to compete with the government’s Play Alberta platform, opening up July 13.
Last year, Betty announced a multi-year strategic partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors, which includes in-arena activation.
