- A Pennsylvania man is accused of urinating inside a casino
- The incident occurred at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course
Pennsylvania State Police responded to Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in January after a man reportedly urinated on a slot machine.

WGAL News 8 broke the news that a 59-year-old Pennsylvania man from Lykens in Dauphin County was charged after he exposed himself and urinated on a row of slots at the property operated by Penn Entertainment.
The report suggests that numerous patrons were nearby when the Jan. 31 incident occurred. Police did not release the name of the man arrested.
The suspect was charged in Dauphin County. The police report detailed that the man became “physically resistant” during his arrest.
Located outside of Harrisburg, Hollywood Penn National has over 1,500 slots, 42 table games, and a sportsbook. The facility includes live horse racing and a racebook, 10 restaurants and bars, and the Penn Heroes State that attracts headlining acts during the summer months.
Casino Public Urination
There have been numerous instances of people urinating at slot machines. Most, however, deal with players who are on a hot streak who simply refuse to leave the machine for a bathroom break.
In 2023, a video went viral of a woman seated at a slot inside Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip that captured her urinating while seated playing a machine. In Nevada, intentionally urinating on a casino floor is a misdemeanor that carries possible fines of up to $2,000 and a year in county jail.
In December 2021, a high school football coach in Pennsylvania was arrested for public urination at Presque Isle Downs & Casino. That man was accused of urinating on the casino floor near the property’s sportsbook.
While some gamblers simply can’t get to a bathroom because the gambling action is too intense to leave, even for a matter of minutes, some gamblers have been cited for taking out their loss frustrations on the gaming floor via urination.
It was also December 2021 when police in Nevada responded to the Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino for an incident involving a 31-year-old female urinating near the casino floor. After being asked to leave the casino due to intoxication, police charged the woman with dropping her pants and urinating on the wall of the Starbucks.
Possible Penalties
For the alleged urinator at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, most public urination cases are handled as municipal ordinance violations. Fines for such offenses typically amount to $500 to $750.
The man’s alleged combative behavior towards state police officers is a more serious situation. A person found guilty of intentionally preventing a police officer from making a lawful arrest is a misdemeanor of the second degree that comes with a possible imprisonment of up to two years and fines of up to $5,000.
