BetMGM Awards More Than $122 Million in Progressive Jackpots in 2025

BetMGM said it awarded US$122.1 million in progressive jackpots to online casino players in 2025. Everything ended on a high note in 2025 when a Michigan player won an $897,928 jackpot on an $8 spin on Bison Fury in late December.

Ontario Player Wins, Then Wins Again

A few days into 2026, another Michigan player took home $612,764 on a $2 spin of MegaJackpots Cash Eruption.

“In 2025, BetMGM brought big names to igaming – from the Wizard of Oz slots and Rakin’ Bacon to branded Price is Right casino games,” said Oliver Bartlett, vice president of gaming at BetMGM.

Michigan Player Gets VIP Treatment

It was a very fortunate Ontario casino player who led the pace, winning a record-breaking CA$1.6 million progressive jackpot on MGM Grand Millions in April. That was the largest progressive jackpot ever awarded by BetMGM Ontario. Then, six days later, the same player won again: CA$417,377 on MGM Grand Millions.

Another player, Steven Hooker from Michigan, won a $609,198 progressive jackpot spin, also while playing MGM Grand Millions. Hooker, an AC/DC fan, won the “VIP Rockstar” treatment that also included a trip to Las Vegas and tickets to see the band at Allegiant Stadium.

2026 Off to a Flying Start

Out of the top-10 iGaming jackpots won at BetMGM in 2025, two were from Ontario, two from New Jersey, and six were from Michigan.

Michigan led the way with US$42.6 million in jackpot prize money, followed by Pennsylvania ($29.7 million), New Jersey ($23.5 million), Ontario (CA$29.5 million), and West Virginia ($5 million).
