There’s a heater, and then there’s a Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa heater, the casino Hard Rock International bills as the “Luckiest Casino in the United States.”
In what’s surely a tale seemingly too tall for many to believe, Hard Rock reports that a lucky guest, Maher O., recently had himself a day at its Tampa location. The company owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida claims Maher hit 389 jackpots totaling $1,827,160.80 in a single day on Friday, July 25.

Maher’s jackpots included a $170,678.18 hit on Lock It Link, a $99,350 payout on Panda Magic Link, and $258K from two handpays on Golden Century Dragon Link. Lock It comes from manufacturer Light & Wonder, while Aristocrat Gaming is behind the two other link titles that delivered much of Maher’s newfound riches.
‘Crazy’ Day
Hard Rock’s statement on Maher’s most unbelievable day included a link to his Instagram page, where he regularly shows clips of himself winning on slot machines. It’s unclear if Maher gambled with any promotional play. Maher’s Instagram page shows he’s a SCUBA “divemaster” with OCD Divers. He hasn’t promoted Hard Rock or any other casino previously.
Maher told Casino.org his day was a “blessing.”
I never had so many handpays in one day. Basically, every machine I touch paid me a few times. I usually get a few handpays in a regular visit, but not crazy like this,” he added.
To hit 389 handpays, he was most likely wagering hefty per-spin sums around $200 to $1,000. Hard Rock Tampa says its high-limit slots have denominations up to $1K.
Best Days at the Casino
A Reddit thread with dozens of comments asks, “What’s the most jackpots you’ve hit in one day at a casino?”
Some players answered that they’ve never won a handpay, or a slot win of $1,200 or more. One person, however, said they hit 32 handpays during a single day.
Perusing the entire thread, no person claimed to hit more than 50 handpays in a single day, and the majority reported never winning more than five in a single trip.
