M Resort to Get New Poolside Eatery, Patio
M Resort, the adorable casino 10 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip, has announced its opening a new Mexican restaurant called Patio.
While “patio” is the Spanish word for “patio,” M Resort is using the English version of the word due to an Executive Order designating English the official language of the United States of America.
You don’t actually believe that nonsense, did you? Las Vegas will not abide that sort of dumbassery (a polite way of saying “emboldening racism and xenophobia”). Nearly a quarter of our residents speak Spanish at home. Órale.

Anyway, for those who haven’t been triggered by our radical insistence upon being on the right side of history, let’s talk more about Patio at M Resort!
Patio opens April 4, 2025, adjacent to the M Pool, one of our favorite casino pools. Especially the little pool where no kids are allowed.
Here’s some information about the menu: “Curated by M Resort’s acclaimed culinary team, Patio’s menu features a modern take on Mexican-inspired cuisine, blending fresh ingredients with dynamic flavors. Guests can start with house-made salsas and appetizers, like charred salsa verde, pineapple and toasted chili, served with crispy tortilla chips or pork skins. Seafood lovers will enjoy the fresh Rock Shrimp Ceviche and a sweet & savory Hamachi Crudo. The entree selection highlights expertly crafted tacos and traditional Mexican favorites. Guests can choose from a variety of tacos including carne asada, mahi mahi, or shrimp. The Carne Asada, a guajillo chili-rubbed grilled ribeye, is paired with roasted spring onion and salsa de molcajete, while the Sizzling Fajitas demonstrates a classic tableside experience.”
You know, American-Mexican.

All we really care about is whether there will be churros, and there will, “classic churros, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with Mexican chocolate sauce, or light, crispy sopaipillas, drizzled with honey and powdered sugar.”

Naturally, drinks are on the menu as well.
From the news release, “Complementing the bold flavors of the menu, Patio’s handcrafted cocktail selection blends fresh ingredients with creative flair. The Jalapeno Margarita delivers a spicy kick with fresh lime and tequila, while the Dragon Fruit Margarita combines vibrant tropical flavors for a smooth and refreshing twist on a classic. The Peartini offers a crisp, elegant sip with pear-infused vodka and citrus, while the Hurricane transports guests to the tropics with a blend of rum, passion fruit and citrus.”

As one of the nicest pool complexes in Las Vegas, we’re thrilled to see M Resort adding a snack bar-style offering within feet of the fun and sun.
We’re always looking for an excuse to make the trek to M Resort, and Patio is that. Despite the TVs with sports on. Nowhere is perfect.
