Longtime Vegas Strip Club Centerfolds to Close

Centerfolds Las Vegas closes on April 8, 2025 after more than 10 years of operation, according to the strip club. In Vegas terms: Centerfolds has folded.

Centerfolds sits right across the street from Virgin casino, a world-class juxtaposition if you ask us. Centerfolds was previously Club Paradise.

Strip club fans won’t have to wait long for the return of the protuberancefest, as another concept, Player’s, is already in the works for the venue under new management.

Beyond a “house fee,” dancers pay extra to not have to perform onstage during their shift.

A news release from Centerfolds included this quote from the club’s Assistant General Manager Lianne Heck: “We are grateful for the amazing staff, performers and loyal patrons who have made this journey so special. While it’s bittersweet, we are proud of the legacy we’ve created and the memories we’ve shared.”

We were about to make fun of a strip club thinking it built a “legacy,” then we remembered Crazy Horse Too, so we’re just going to go with it.

Centerfolds had a resident show, “A Touch of Burlesque,” and tried hosting a few mid-tier shows (“Murray’s Misfits” from Murray Sawchuck and “Exxcite” from Jennifer Romas) in addition to its T&A, but none ran for long. Shows in a strip club are like a comedian in a burlesque show, move it along, bucko.

We never saw or heard of “Touch of Burlesque,” but it won several “Best of Las Vegas” awards, including top three honors for “Best Female Revue,” “Best Acrobatic Show” and “Best Bachelor Party.”

The news release also says the club’s “final day of operations will include scheduled performances and events, with plans for a farewell celebration to be announced soon.

We never made it to Centerfolds, but whenever a strip club closes in Las Vegas, an angel loses its wings.

It’s hard to stand out in such a competitive market and Centerfolds never really had a hook.

Peppermint Hippo is a play on Spearmint Rhino. Sapphire can boast it’s the world’s largest gentlemen’s club. Girl Collection has a celebrity owner, boxer Floyd Mayweather. Chicas Bonitas is known for its management turning a blind eye to just about everything. Palomino is the only club in Vegas where both full nudity and liquor are allowed.

The strip club world moves fast. Cheetah’s was The Library and is now Las Toxicas, one of the greatest strip club names, ever.

Centerfolds’ replacement, Player’s, will have a sports theme, because original ideas are hard.

Wasting no time, Player’s Strip Club Las Vegas opens April 11, 2025.
