EDC Music Festival Books Everyone for 2025 Festival

EDC, also known as Electric Daisy Carnival, has announced its 2025 line-up.

With a schedule featuring more than 250 acts on 16 stages, EDC has booked, well, everyone.

Your mom is probably playing EDC, honestly.

An “electric daisy” is a real plant called “Acmella oleracea” or “Szechuan button.” When consumed, the plant causes a unique tingling sensation. If you experience a unique tingling sensation at EDC, join the club.

EDC even snagged the wildly popular DJ “???????.”

No, really, it’s like “Where’s Waldo?”

Here’s the line-up.

Sorry about the font size, olds, you are not the target audience.

Because we are very busy, we’re just going to cut and paste some of the acts being showcased in this year’s EDC happening May 16-18, 2025 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

EDC features Dom Dolla, Alesso, Afrojack, Alison Wonderland playing “b2b” with Kaskade, Illenium playing “b2b” with Slander, Sara Landry, Horsegiirl, Your Mom, Gesaffelstein, RL Grime, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Interplanetary Criminal, Rezz, Fisher, Eric Prydz and many others.

Today we learned “b2b” means “back-to-back.” Two DJs perform together on the same decks, taking turns playing tracks one after the other, sharing the mixing responsibility throughout the set.

Today we learned they’re called “decks.” Those are the devices DJs use to play music. DJs use decks to manipulate and mix music for audience members.

We are not going down the rabbit hole of “PLUR,” “banger,” “bass face,” “drop,” “wubby,” “kandi,” “rail riding,” “gloving” or “trap arms.” Probably.

EDC is a special time in Las Vegas. There are no bras, which is a big plus. Rooms are full, which is great for casinos. Not great is the fact when EDC is in town, gambling revenue and show tickets take a nosedive.

The twist? Event organizers, Insomniac Events, say EDC Las Vegas 2025 is sold out. Before the acts were even announced.

About 125,000 people a day attend EDC.

We are not one of them.
