Cosmo’s Getting a New Burger Joint, Naughty Patty’s

Cosmopolitan is set to get a new burger option, Naughty Patty’s, following the closure of Holstein’s in 2024. Yes, we broke the Holstein’s story months before it was announced, but it’s not always about us, probably.

Amaya, a Mexican restaurant, took the Holstein’s space (Holstein’s is set to open a new location downtown), but Mexican isn’t burgers and burgers aren’t optional at Las Vegas casinos.

Naughty Patty’s, a name infinitely more tasteful than the nearby Eggslut, will be near the Block 16 Urban Food Hall.

Cosmo didn’t provide any images, so this is Patty for now. A.I. made her a ginger.

Word of the new smash burger offering comes from Eater Vegas.

Eater says, “The version at Naughty Patty’s [smash burger] gets a thin patty with nearly caramelized edges, lettuce, tomato, and raw onion, and a citrusy sauce of yuzu and sesame oil. Add-ons like avocado will be available. The concise menu will also have a crunchy grilled cheese fried in mayonnaise, hot dogs slathered in a chili-like sauce, and crunchy fries in a furikake seasoning. Ice cream concretes will be available in flavors like strawberry and Oreo cookie.”

“Concise menu” means short and sweet, which is exactly the way we prefer our burgers.

We would like to point out the fact we have matured to the point where we will not be making a “furikake” joke in this story. At all. Even in a photo caption.

We’re a huge fan of the smash burgers at No Pants, a stand outside “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace, and they’re one of the few memorable burgers on the Las Vegas Strip.

Cosmo’s executive chef Mark Crane says smash burgers take just three minutes to make, so that bodes well for service times.

Naughty Patty’s has a shot at being a stand-out quick service dining option at Cosmo which lacks good eats, overall. Except for Superfrico, which is awesome.

According to Eater, Naughty Patty’s “will lean into an old-school diner aesthetic with retro art. And a cartoon of the namesake Patty pin-up character gives the middle finger on the inside of each burger’s cardboard box.”

When you’re out of ideas, it’s crass over class.

Naughty Patty’s opens this summer at Cosmopolitan. It appears the burger spot will be managed internally by Cosmo’s food and beverage team.

We’re up for trying Naughty Patty’s as the burgers at Holstein’s were meh-diocre at best and it’s a pain to trek to Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood across the street when in the throes of a burger emergency.
