RPOS XIV - Player of the Series

This year, we’re introducing another new feature to RPOS: the RPOS Player of the Series Leaderboard.

Every RPOS tournament you play will give you the opportunity to earn points towards the overall leaderboard. At the end of the series, the players with the most points will share:

100,000,000 CHIPS IN LEADERBOARD PRIZES with 10,000,000 chips awarded to the RPOS Player of the Year!

Points earned in each tournament will be calculated using the following formula:

(1000 × (√Runners / √Finishing Position)) × (1 + log10(Buy-in))

This means your points will be determined by three main factors: the number of players in the tournament, your finishing position, and the tournament buy-in.

For example, if a player enters a tournament with a 5,000-chip buy-in and 200 runners and finishes in 6th place:

(1000 × (√200 / √6)) × (1 + log10(5000)) = 27,193 points

Tournament points will only be awarded to players who were present (not away) for at least 50% of the hands in their tournament.

With 69 tournaments across the series, every result can contribute towards the race to become the RPOS Player of the Year.

At the end of RPOS, 100 million chips will be awarded through the leaderboard, including a 10 million chip top prize for the RPOS Player of the Year.
