Jennifer Lopez is reportedly being paid $1 million per night for her upcoming residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. But very few people are paying to see it.

Tickets for “Up All Night Live in Vegas” — 11 dates scattered between December 30 and March 28 – are “just sitting there,” a source told News Nation, which also tipped the news about La Lopez’s payday.

Ticketmaster no longer shows the exact number of unsold seats on its interactive maps as a graphic — no doubt exactly for the reason that we searched for it. However, media outlets can still verify whether or not shows are sold out — and none of J.Lo’s are, even though they went on sale in June.

In addition, scanning each seating section for her New Year’s Eve  date — for which demand for any residency usually runs highest  — reveals 835 of 4,200 seats still available, starting at just $112 each. And that does not even include the unknown number of seats available on reseller sites like StubHub — frequently used by those who buy tickets when they first go on sale just to profiteer, not to enjoy the entertainment themselves.

La Lopez has been trying to recapture her “All I Have” magic — her 2016-2018 Planet Hollywood residency that grossed $102 million, just short of an all-time top-10 slot for Vegas.

However, negotiations for a fall 2024 residency at the 5,200-seat Park Theater at the MGM Grand stalled due to sagging sales for a new album and summer US tour, which ultimately got scrapped.

“No one wanted to commit to a long run of shows after what happened last year,” News Nation’s source said. “This is dipping her toe in, seeing if she can sell out not just over New Year’s, which is high traffic, but in March. That will be very important.”

Still Supreme

Diana Ross is set to return to the Strip for the first time in two years. The still-reigning queen of Motown is set to play February 12, 14 and 15 at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas — the setting for her most last Vegas shows in September 2023.

“Diana in Motion” promises hits from her Supremes tenure (“Stop! In the Name of Love,” “Baby Love” and “You Can’t Hurry Love” as well as her signature solo hits (“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Upside Down” and “I’m Coming Out”).
