The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Addison at 3:46 am at 5223 Orient Road, which is the address for the casino resort’s entrance. Addison was booked about three hours later on a first-degree misdemeanor trespassing charge.

Hillsborough police listed on his record “probable cause” as the reason for Addison’s arrest. The NFL player was released at 2:40 pm that afternoon after posting a $500 cash bond.

County law enforcement responded to the casino after Seminole Indian Police detained Addison on a trespassing violation. Seminole Police said Addison was asked to leave several times by casino security but refused.

Hillsborough County police officers located Addison at the Jubao Palace Noodle Bar. The arrest record alleges that while he was being escorted out of the restaurant and casino, Addison “repeatedly had to be redirected towards the front exit.”

The defendant was redirected by myself and Officer Scheidegg multiple times. The defendant was then taken into custody for trespass after warning,” wrote Officer Fluellen in the criminal report affidavit.

The Jubao Palace Noodle Bar is open until 4 am.

Serious Charge

This isn’t the first time Addison, the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

In July 2023, before reporting to his first training camp with the Vikings, Addison was arrested for speeding and reckless driving. Police in Minnesota clocked him driving a Lamborghini Urus SUV on Interstate 94 in Saint Paul, going 140 miles per hour. Addison pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and had his license revoked for six months.

A year later, in July 2024, Addison was arrested and booked near the Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Police reported that they found Addison asleep at the wheel, with his car blocking traffic lanes. Addison managed to strike a deal for a lesser charge of Reckless Driving Involving Alcohol.

A first-degree misdemeanor trespassing charge in Florida is reserved for a person who continues to remain on a property without permission after being told to leave. Florida’s M1 trespassing guidelines require that the individual entered the property without authorization after notice, was armed with a dangerous weapon, and/or refused to leave after being ordered to evacuate.

A person found guilty of first-degree trespassing in Florida faces up to a year in jail and fines of up to $1,000.

Addison Court Date Set

Court records show that Jordan Addison is set for arraignment on Feb. 3 at 9 am at Tampa’s Criminal Courthouse Annex. The Honorable Matthew Smith will preside over the case.

After a promising first year in the NFL, where he caught 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023, Addison’s production has dropped in each season since. In 2025, he caught just 42 passes for 610 yards and three touchdowns.
