How to Play Fan Tan Live
The goal of Fan Tan is to simply predict the number of beads that remain in the final line. You will be able to choose between several different bets, including Fan, Nim, Kwok, Ssh, Small/Big and Odd/Even. Simply start by selecting a coin value and placing it on the bet you wish to play. After the betting round timer is up, the dealer will proceed.
The dealer will use the special wooden stick to collect all beads into one place, and they are placed underneath a glass dome where they are shaken around. After this, the dealer uses a metal cup to pick up a random amount of beads and places them on the table. Again, the dealer uses the stick to separate the beads into groups of four, lined up one after the other until there are just some beads left.
Now you will see how many beads remain, 1, 2, 3 or 4. Should you have placed a correct bet, you will win. The round ends, and the dealer pushes all beads back into the glass dome for the next round.
Betting Round
The game starts with the option between two different views, the standard view and the advanced view, where the standard view will be showing the main three bets while the advanced mode will show the additional three bets. You will easily be able to switch between the two different modes by clicking on the view button.
Standard View Bets:
- Fan Bet – Win on the exact number remaining in the last line (1, 2, 3 or 4)
- Big/Small – Bet on the result being either a small or a big number (1+2 or 3+4)
- Odd/Even – Bet on odd numbers (1 or 3) or even numbers (2 or 4) being the result
Advanced View Bets:
- Nim – Bet on two numbers. The first number being the result, and the second number is a return where your initial bet paid 1:1
- Kwok – Bet on two numbers, where both numbers count as a win.
- Ssh – Bet on three numbers. If any of the numbers are the result, you win
Play Round
Once you have selected your bets, the game round will start. Every round will start with the dealer selecting a random amount of beads using the metal cup. Once the betting time has run out, the dealer will reveal the selected beads and sort them into lines of four at a time using the wooden stick.
Once there are four or fewer beads left on the table, the dealer will then place these remaining beads in the centre of the table in a line. Here, you will see the game’s result, showing you 1, 2, 3 or 4 beads.
