Red Rock Casino Adds With Love, Always Smash Burgers to Refreshed Food Court
Red Rock Casino is definitely cleaning house in its food court with news the forgettable Fatburger closes Jan. 12, 2025 and With Love, Always (known for its smash burgers) moves into the space in spring 2026.
As previously reported, Red Rock is also upgrading its mediocre Side Piece Pizza with Good Pie, and dumping its underwhelming Federal Donuts & Chicken for the reliable Randy’s Donuts.
Why are we taking the time to share this story? 1) Slow news day. 2) We eat at that food court a couple of times a week and Panda Express, while delicious, is getting a little “Groundhog Day” at this point. Also, there’s a very real chance some of the dishes actually contain groundhog, but that is for another time.

With Love, Always is a known quantity with many Las Vegas locals.
The smash burger restaurant started as a parking-lot pop-up in 2021 before becoming a full brick-and-mortar operation.
The concept was launched by Drew Belcher and Kevin Whelan, founders of Sorry, Not Sorry Creamery, along with social media food personality Damian Ocampo.
The restaurant’s first permanent location opened at 6441 N. Durango Drive in Centennial Hills, where it quickly drew long lines and strong word-of-mouth.
Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with Yelp ratings hovering around the low-to-mid 4-star range and hundreds of posts praising the crispy-edged patties, tallow-fried fries, soft-serve desserts and straightforward menu.
Here are some visuals so we don’t have to write as much.

We suspect there have been some fistfights between Red Rock execs and the owners of Nielsens Frozen Custard, a wildly popular offering in the Red Rock food court, because With Love, Always is going to cannibalize lots of their customers.
Beyond Panda Express, survivors of the Red Rock food court purge (at least so far) are Wingstop, Capriotti’s and Rubio’s. They can all go, other than Panda Express, honestly.
Why is Red Rock doing a refresh of its food court and booting out so many partners? The answer, as always, is “Casinos are evil!” Kidding! They are evil, but that’s not the reason! The answer is money. Shocker.
Casino food court deals are usually structured as base rent plus a percentage of gross sales, giving the casino guaranteed income with upside when the concept performs well. Red Rock knows how its concepts are doing, and anyone underperforming is out. Casino landlords get 8-12% of gross sales for quick-service concepts.
Props to Red Rock Casino for shaking things up in its food court! No, it’s not a “food hall,” it’s a food court.
Food halls are for tourists. Food courts are for locals who are in the building to gamble, not waste time eating.
We will be first in line at With Love, Always when it debuts at Red Rock. Burgers are burgers, but good soft serve is an orgasm in ice cream form.
We just need to remind you occasionally our stories could not possibly have been written by A.I.
Sorry, not sorry.
