Cromwell’s Vanderpump Hotel Makeover Continues Apace
Cromwell’s transition to Vanderpump Hotel is moving along faster than a tourist dodging a timeshare salesperson.
We popped in to see the latest changes, and to avoid wasting our precious time, we’re sharing those changes herewith, or possibly herein. We do not have time for “word choice” or “grammar.” We have important photos of carpeting and chandelier shades to pass along.
Oh, and we got exclusive video of the Vanderpump Hotel’s crest being installed by YESCO. We’ll take exclusives where we can get them.

We saw YESCO (the “S” stands for sign, so we will forego mansplaining that YESCO is a sign company) installing the Vanderpump logo crest at 3:00 a.m. on May 5, 2026.
The lettering in the hotel’s logo has been going in over the past week or so, but this is the biggest piece of the install.
The installation was quite a production. In technical terms, the crane thing is rated for 3,000 pounds (in Europe, 3,000 milliliters), but the emblem weighs just a few hundred pounds, according to one of the guys wearing a vest with YESCO on it.

We also grabbed some pics of Vanderpump’s tweaked chandeliers. They have changed dramatically from the Cromwell look (red) and now boast some fancy jewels and shades.

We were informed by a Vanderpump Hotel employee, “That’s not real good, and those aren’t real diamonds.”
It’s just that kind of unfiltered, boots-on-the-ground reporting you can’t get anywhere else!
The rest of Vanderpump Hotel’s casino is in a state of flux, but much of the carpeting has been installed.

Here’s a look at a different part of the carpeting.

The hotel’s former Bound lounge is wrecked, so they’re saving that until last during the overhaul, apparently.

There’s Vanderpump felt on a good number of tables, but no Vanderpump chips yet.

All the changes should come together this month (May 2026), including renovations of all 188 of Vanderpump Hotel’s rooms.
The biggest challenge for Lisa Vanderpump and casino owner Caesars Entertainment is going to be getting used to calling Cromwell by its new name, Vanderpump Hotel.
“Pump” is sort of funny, as it seems sex-related, but the over-under for when people start calling it Vanderpump instead of Cromwell is 18 months.
Lisa Vanderpump’s lounges in Las Vegas have been a stunning financial success, so Caesars is putting its faith in the strength of the brand.

Given the hotel and casino are so small, there isn’t much downside risk to the rebrand, and the feminine feel might draw a new customer to the boutique hotel.
For those of us who wouldn’t know a Vanderpump if we tripped over one, we can still appreciate something “new” on The Strip.
Chatter about the potential sale of Caesars Entertainment is ongoing, and we suspect a new owner could sell off a couple of casinos in Las Vegas, with Vanderpump in that potential mix (along with Flamingo or Planet Hollywood).
In the meantime, more flowers, more flair, more romance, more fancification never hurt anybody. And Lisa Vanderpump’s cocktails are wonders to behold, so let’s go.
