Clubhouse Deli to Close at The Resort at Summerlin
The Resort at Summerlin’s Clubhouse Deli will close and a VIP lounge, the Summerlin Room, will take its place.
We know it’s not the biggest news in the world, but we’ll take an exclusive any time one presents itself.
The off-Strip resort, formerly Rampart Casino, is moving things around as part of an ongoing refresh.

Here’s the confirmation from The Resort at Summerlin: “We can confirm the Summerlin Room will be relocated to the current Clubhouse Deli location at The Resort at Summerlin. As part of the project, the Summerlin Bar will undergo a full refresh, introducing an updated design and enhanced guest experience, alongside the addition of new slot machines to expand the gaming offering. Construction timelines are still being finalized, with a target completion before the end of the year.”
If you’re a tourist, The Resort at Summerlin may not be on your radar, but locals love the place, so this is vital news.

Clubhouse Deli sat, soon to be past tense (“sattened”), near the resort’s sportsbook which recently became a Caesars Race & Sportsbook.
Along with the sportsbook rebrand (it was previously operated by South Point), The Resort at Summerlin recently opened two new food court concepts, For the Win Burgers and Tacos 1986. For the Win Burgers is outstanding and an absolute smash.
The Summerlin Room sits behind the Summerlin Bar at The Resort at Summerlin, and as mentioned in the statement, once the Summerlin Room moves to the Clubhouse Deli space, the Summerlin Bar will get a refresh. Basically, video poker will be added to the far side of the bar. The rest of the Summerlin Room will get new slot machines.

We love the Summerlin Bar because each of the machines has a giant sign saying, “These machines are for active players.”
Video poker bars aren’t normal bars. They aren’t for sitting around talking or watching sports on the TVs. They are for players. If you’re just drinking, order your drink (while standing up), then move away from the bar. And don’t try that bullshit move where you put $20 in a machine and pretend to play to get a free drink. That’s a freeloader move and you should be ashamed.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on all the changes at The Resort at Summerlin, mainly in the hope that if we type it often enough, we could at some point stop calling it the Rampart.
