Caesars Sportsbook Takes Over Westgate SuperBook
Caesars Sportsbook has taken the reins of one of the biggest, most beloved sportsbooks in Las Vegas, Westgate’s SuperBook.

No, really.
People sit around a big table and brainstorm about how best to let people know about things like sportsbook operations.
We know because we used to work at Caesars Entertainment and took part in such meetings.
In this scenario, it would be executives from Caesars and Westgate. Most of them are middle-aged white men, of course. There might be a social media girl there, too, because social media is a big thing now, the executives are told.
“How about a stunt where Caesar kickboxes a platoon of robots dressed like football players while a drone show happens overhead with messaging about our SuperContest, plus we could have an immersive UGC element where someone gets a million dollars for correctly guessing Caitlin Clark’s middle name?” the social media coordinator suggests.
“That’s great,” the executives say, “but we’re going with showgirls and Caesar. Make sure the logo’s in their headpieces. Make that happen.”
Anyway, Westgate announced that “the Westgate SuperBook, powered by Caesars Sportsbook, is now live with new wagering capabilities ahead of football season, bringing together the legendary SuperBook experience and the modern sports betting features today’s sports fans expect. Guests can now access expanded betting options, upgraded mobile wagering capabilities and more than 20 self-service wagering kiosks located throughout the SuperBook and Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.”
We are not exactly a sports person, but we have heard of Westgate’s “SuperContest” competitions where grown men use winning as an excuse to hug their friends.
The news release says, “Long recognized as one of the preeminent sportsbook destinations in Las Vegas, the SuperBook and its renowned Westgate Las Vegas SuperContest franchise continue to define one of the most iconic sports betting experiences in the world. Entries are now open for SuperContest, SuperContest Gold, SuperContest Survivor and SuperContest College for the 2026 season.”
There’s no such thing as “most iconic,” of course. Something is either iconic or not. But we aren’t going to be that guy. Probably.
Here are more words we don’t understand: “In addition to the SuperBook’s iconic contests, Caesars Sportsbook is introducing new ways for fans to engage throughout football season, including the Pro Pick’em Contest and Nevada-exclusive $1 Million Parlay Cash Giveaway. Sports fans can learn more and register for SuperContest, SuperContest Gold, SuperContest Survivor and SuperContest College in person or here. Fans can also register for the new Caesars Sportsbook football contests in person at the Westgate SuperBook, powered by Caesars Sportsbook.”
That is the proper use of “iconic,” despite the fact we are defining “iconic” very loosely here. It’s a sportsbook.
Here’s one final passage from the news release someone who’s into sports betting might need to know: “Caesars Sportsbook mobile users will also benefit from Caesars’ Universal Digital Wallet functionality, providing seamless access to account balances and funds while traveling across jurisdictions where Caesars Sportsbook is live, including Nevada. The addition of more than 20 Caesars Sportsbook self-service kiosks throughout the resort provides convenient around-the-clock access to sports betting, while in-person wagers placed at the SuperBook via kiosk or over the counter will continue to earn WoW Rewards points and tier credits.”
Caesars’ current fact sheet says the sportsbook brand operates in 34 states and North American jurisdictions, 29 with mobile wagering. It’s complicated.
People have a variety of feelings about Caesars Sportsbook, but let’s face it, people will always find something to gripe about.
The recurring complaints about Caesars Sportsbook involve a buggy app, temperamental live betting, slow or complicated withdrawals, confusing promotional fine print and customer service that can make resolving any of those problems an ordeal.
Yes, Caesars can and reportedly does limit consistently profitable bettors. Look, sportsbooks have razor-thin margins. You’d limit consistently profitable bettors, too. Casinos aren’t charities.
