Bellagio Conservatory’s Summer Display is Plum Loco
There’s a very real possibility the horticultural team at Bellagio’s Conservatory had their drinks spiked.
Because while whimsical, the current display is straight-up weird.
We stopped by for a quick peek at the Conservatory’s display because it remains one of the best free things to do in Las Vegas, other than complaining about how expensive everything is.

Here’s how Bellagio describes the summer display: “Step into a dreamlike escape with ‘Glam Menagerie: A Surrealist Summer.’ Inspired by the splendor of European marble and the lavish drama of Baroque design, this immersive installation brings fantastical artistry to life. Intricate trompe-l’oeil illusions dance across the space, delighting the eye and challenging perception, while baroque-inspired flourishes evoke a sense of elegance, excess and wonder.”
This display may not be everyone’s favorite, but if it ain’t baroque, don’t fix it.
The description continues in this paragraph, just to make it appear as though we spent more time writing this story than we did: “Wander through this magical realm and encounter whimsical animal figures resting in luxurious beds, each adorned in fanciful costumes inspired by the French Renaissance. These surreal characters invite guests to step into a world where fantasy and refinement collide.”
Translation: When fantasy and refinement collide, animals go clothes shopping.

Here’s a walkthrough by an acclaimed Las Vegas expert on all things “trompe-l’oeil,” whatever that might be.
If you’d rather do a self-guided tour, without the annoying commentary, Bellagio now has a thing where you can take a 3D tour of the Conservatory. Which kind of defeats the purpose of using the free attraction as a way to draw people to the resort, but it’s awesome.
The summer display runs through Sept. 6, 2025. The fall display is unveiled on Sept. 13, 2025, if you can believe that. We are not a math person, but that’s about a week for the transition. Consistently miraculous.
Here’s a sneak peek at the next seasonal display.

We tease because we love! Bellagio’s Conservatory is a must-visit for travelers and locals alike. It’s an invitation to revel in imagination brought to life and magic made real.
It’s also a reminder of how many freaking languages there are in the world. The Conservatory is like the United Nations, but with more tigers in evening gowns.
