Superstar Bruno Mars is Getting a Street Named After Him

Beloved singer Bruno Mars will soon get the ultimate Las Vegas honor. He’ll have a street named after him, Bruno Mars Drive.

We sort of missed the memo this is happening, but that is primarily because we are not omniscient, despite ample evidence to the contrary.

What’s new is we’ve heard there are plans for the unveiling of Mars’ new street on Apr. 17, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed. Bruno Mars fans are welcome to start feeling giddy.

Not the actual sign, probably.

Our sources say Bruno Mars was experiencing feelings about all this, too.

When Mars was informed by MGM Resorts head honcho Bill Hornbuckle he’d get a street named after him, the singer got emotional, we’re told.

Look, when you’re rich and famous, they sort of run out of perks to give you. A street, that’s a cool bragging rights thing.

This move cements the longstanding relationship between MGM Resorts and Bruno Mars. Mars has had a long and successful residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. His initial shows began in 2016.

Mars was supposed to have a fancy lounge at Mirage (owned by MGM Resorts at the time) before it was sold to the Seminoles (who are now building Hard Rock Las Vegas), but it ended up as The Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars at Bellagio.

The new Bruno Mars Drive will replace the existing Park Ave. near T-Mobile Arena between New York-New York and Park MGM.

Bruno Mars wears headbands as a fashion statement reflecting his personal style and artistic persona. Translation: When you’re talented, you can do all manner of doofy stuff and get away with it.

Bruno Mars has not only been a great partner for MGM Resorts, he’s also been a great source of gambling revenue. Rumors have swirled for years that Mars plays big, and at various times has donated millions to the MGM Resorts coffers. We should know, we were one of the people swirling them.

At one time, it was widely rumored Bruno Mars had run up $50 million in markers. MGM Resorts denied the rumors in a carefully-worded statement. Which is definitely something that happens often with baseless rumors, specifically, never.

A marker in a casino is essentially a short-term, interest-free line of credit extended to players.

Our A.I. street sign makes a lot more sense now, doesn’t it? We are always here for hand-holding if needed.

We trust there will be lots of P.R. hoopla when the Bruno Mars street sign is revealed, along with the fallout of rideshare drivers being asked to take people there despite the street not appearing in Google Maps, so have fun with that.

Bruno Mars’ shows are universally well-reviewed, and while ticket prices aren’t cheap (the average ticket can fetch $300), his is a must-see production in Las Vegas.

Bruno Mars is on the charts again with the catchy “I Just Might” from his fourth solo album, “The Romantic,” set to drop Feb. 27, 2026.

This is his first full solo record since “24K Magic” in 2016. That’s right. That was a decade ago, confirming we are all in a simulation, as we would’ve said “24K Magic” came out maybe a year ago.

In support of the new album, Mars has announced The Romantic Tour, a major global stadium tour running from April through October 2026, with stops across North America, Europe and the U.K.

The tour was originally supposed to be 39 dates, but set ticket sales records, so another 32 dates were added.

The April timing of his street reveal makes more sense in that context, of course.

The tour includes two shows at Allegiant Stadium right here in Las Vegas, April 10-11, 2026.
