Do our fellow youths still say &#8220;lit&#8221;? Things are still &#8220;fire,&#8221; right? &#8220;Straight fire&#8221;? Can &#8220;fire&#8221; be &#8220;turnt&#8221;? At one point, we were told, &#8220;They&#8217;re delaying it until every ounce of brand equity is gone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ouch.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Game of Thrones&#8221; ended its original run on HBO in May 2019, or approximately 350 years ago in pop culture years.<\/p>\n<p>The reaction to the teaser for &#8220;Game of Thrones Dragons&#8221; was a smidge lukewarm, but there wasn&#8217;t much meat on the bone.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dragons are coming to Las Vegas. <\/p>\n<p>Learn more: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3QM0w6cohu\">https:\/\/t.co\/3QM0w6cohu<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/NPFzwshquo\">pic.twitter.com\/NPFzwshquo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Game of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GameOfThrones\/status\/1601759926321238017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 11, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/gotdragonslv.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Web site<\/a> (live since 2022) for the attraction has a little video, no other details, no location and a splash page, which was sort of a red flag.<\/p>\n<p>The crash and burn of the planned attraction at Horseshoe is annoying for several reasons: 1) Dragons are cool. 2) The surface parking lot (just outside the food court and former sportsbook, now a video arcade) has been closed for a year in anticipation of this attraction. And, yes, that&#8217;s what she said.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As mentioned, we&#8217;ve heard there are potential plans for &#8220;Game of Thrones Dragons&#8221; to move into Strat&#8217;s shuttered mall area.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The upstairs mall at Strat no longer exists. It doesn&#39;t connect now. The part above the pit has this wall past the McDonald&#39;s and daiquiri bar. The other side ends at a wall in front of the SkyJump store with only the pizza shop open on that end.
