A towering new venue outside Horseshoe on the Las Vegas Strip, Bottled Blonde, has announced an opening date: June 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

The $50 million sports bar and nightlife venue has been under construction since, roughly, Vegas Vic was still under warranty.<\/p>\n

The best part of Bottled Blonde is that, in conjunction with Ole Red, it’s helped further obscure Grand Bazaar Shops, a flea market with all the visual appeal of the armpits of a guy who just finished his shift wearing an inflatable gorilla suit on Fremont Street in 120-degree heat.<\/p>\n

Bottled Blonde began construction in Feb. 2023, so it’s been a minute.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After all the operational kinks are worked out, Bottled Blonde will host a red carpet opening extravaganza on July 18, 2025.<\/p>\n

Bottled Blonde need not worry that its staff will be overwhelmed, as things are looking pretty bleak this summer. Business tends to drop in Las Vegas during the summer, but this one’s even more thirsty than usual.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Bottled Blonde is an Italian restaurant during the day that transitions into a night spot at (wait for it) night.<\/p>\n

Each of the venue’s three stories has its own vibe: The first floor is the restaurant, the second floor is a sports bar and the open-air rooftop is the nightlife lounge part, complete with bottle service and DJs, despite our best efforts.<\/p>\n

This is a parody, but it’s doubtful Bottled Blonde will be mad. They seem like they’re in the “If it’s too loud, you’re too old” camp.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The building will have lots of tech like a 38-foot LED wall and more than 40 TVs. It’s the law.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest selling points of Bottled Blonde, of course, will be its views of the Bellagio fountains.<\/p>\n

Bottled Blonde’s day-to-night hybrid gives it some wiggle room to play to its strengths without committing to being any one thing. Others in the Grand Bazaar Shops have failed that test.<\/p>\n

Redneck Riviera, a country bar, closed after a year at Grand Bazaar Shops. Bourbon Parade<\/a>, a New Orleans-inspired bar, closed after a mere month of operation. A karaoke bar, Smelly Cat Karaoke, has opened in the Bourbon Parade space, good luck with that. The space was previously home to a Starbucks. Yes, you read that correctly. Grand Bazaar Shops is the only place in recorded history where a Starbucks closed.<\/p>\n

Bottled Blonde also has locations in Scottsdale and Dallas, but this will be the best Bottled Blonde because Las Vegas. And the one in Dallas is closed for renovations, so it’s not a fair fight.<\/p>\n

Judging from the Bottled Blonde Facebook page<\/a>, the staff will be attractive women, at least one of whom will be Jennifer Lawrence playing the part of someone who is absolutely over your bullshit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The fare at Bottled Blonde is “elevated” bar food with an Italian bent, including wood-fired pizzas in styles like Margherita, Carnivoro and the truffle-loaded Forager. Appetizers and shareables range from mozzarella sticks and truffle fries to shrimp and calamari fritti, plus our first order of business, pizza rolls. Mains include burgers, chicken parm, paninis and pasta dishes like rigatoni vodka and chicken Florentine fettuccine. Salads offer lighter options, while weekend brunch brings breakfast burritos, French toast with wild toppings and bottomless mimosa towers.<\/p>\n

We trust the Las Vegas location of Bottled Blonde won’t have the issues some complain about in Scottsdale, including a “trashy vibe,” “chaos,” “underage issues” and a frequent police presence.<\/p>\n

The closest competition to Bottled Blonde is the aforementioned Ole Red, a venue that has been printing money since it opened. Bottled Blonde should be even better because it won’t feature any gawd-awful country music (except during NFR, of course).<\/p>\n
