Resorts World will soon have a new restaurant in its stable of culinary offerings: Stubborn Seed.<\/p>\n

The cuisine is modern American, brought to Resorts World by chef Jeremy Ford, winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef” season 13. The original Stubborn Seed in Miami is well regarded and earned a Michelin star.<\/p>\n

Oh, it’s fancy, all right.<\/p>\n

Here’s an overview of Stubborn Seed from the news release: “Guided by the vision of Chef Ford, a 2022 James Beard Award semi-finalist, Stubborn Seed delivers an impeccably curated dining experience, highlighted by its signature tasting menu, starting at $135 per person for eight courses and $175 per person for ten courses. Wine pairings and elevated enhancements will also be available. Each visit will be unique and special, as the menu will be based on seasonal availability. An a la carte menu will also be available exclusively at the bar-lounge and the enclosed patio, slated to open this spring.”<\/p>\n

To be more specific, Stubborn Seed opens at Resorts World<\/a> on Feb. 10, 2025. Spring doesn’t even officially start until March 20, but some things in Las Vegas actually open before they’re supposed to, believe it or not.<\/p>\n

Here’s a chat with the chef, including a confession his father helped Ford create a fake I.D. to get a restaurant job. Hilarious story until Google says using a fake I.D. can be a felony with a punishment of up to 10 years in prison. We trust the statue of limitations has passed, so the chef can go about his business, phew.<\/p>\n
