A highly-touted restaurant, Villa Azur, is set to close in the Grand Canal Shoppes at Palazzo.<\/p>\n

Employees of the restaurant have been informed the venue will close on Saturday, Dec. 7. 2024, mostly because finding a new gig during the holidays is such a freaking hoot.<\/p>\n

First word of the rumored closure was shared by @LasVegasLocally<\/a> on Dec. 1, 2024. Our sources confirmed the rumor and the date of closure, and say there’s another restaurant ready to take over the space, Boa Steakhouse, formerly at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.<\/p>\n

“Villa” translates as “country house” and “azul” means “that needed better marketing.”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

No official announcement of the closure has been made, and the Boa Steakhouse scoop has yet to be confirmed. Give it a minute.<\/p>\n

Villa Azur has been open just two years. It opened Dec. 8, 2022.<\/p>\n

There was a vastitudinous red flag back in Sep. when Villa Azur closed suddenly due to a rent kerfuffle. The restaurant reopened the next day, but that’s rarely a good sign.<\/p>\n
