\t\t\t<\/iframe><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t<script type=\"application\/ld+json\">{\"@context\":\"http:\\\/\\\/schema.org\\\/\",\"@id\":\"https:\\\/\\\/www.casino.org\\\/vitalvegas\\\/storied-strip-club-crazy-horse-too-being-demolished\\\/#arve-youtube-kjf775lert4\",\"type\":\"VideoObject\",\"embedURL\":\"https:\\\/\\\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\\\/embed\\\/kJF775lErt4?feature=oembed&iv_load_policy=3&modestbranding=1&rel=0&autohide=1&playsinline=0&autoplay=0\"}<\/script>\n<\/p><\/div>\nThe aforementioned history of Crazy Horse Too is the stuff of Las Vegas legend.<\/p>\nCrazy Horse Too (technically, Billy Jo’s Crazy Horse Too) came into being in 1978, and was originally called just Billy Jo’s, which was more of a disco with strippers than a strip club.<\/p>\nOne of the early owners of the Crazy Horse was mobster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayheminthedesert.com\/crimebulletin\/2021\/11\/11\/the-topless-club-with-a-headless-owner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tony Albanese<\/a>, named after a popular Italian dish. At some point, Albanese’s head was found in the desert. Just for the record, the Italian dish thing was a joke, the severed head thing wasn’t.<\/p>\nFun fact: Prior to losing his head, Albanese founded the Tony Albanese Talent Association, a way to find new dancers for his establishments. The acronym used for this venture? T.A.T.A.<\/p>\nThings got interesting when Crazy Horse Too was taken over by Rick Rizzolo. Yes, Levitan is back on the Las Vegas beat, doing all the laborious research so we can stay focused on important things like drinking and gambling. Which is also “research,” but in quotation marks.<\/p>\nFollowing a long and glorious history of drama and guys thinking dancers were talking to them because they were interesting, Crazy Horse Too finally went bust on August 23, 2014.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5903\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5903\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-5903 size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;\" src=\"\/vitalvegas\/dist\/images\/common\/transparent_3x2.gif\" alt=\"Stripping\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/stripper_chart.jpg\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5903\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sorry, guys, should’ve said “spoiler alert.”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nHere’s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/crazy-horse-strip-club-closes-yet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">what we wrote<\/a> about the closure at the time.<\/p>\nYes, we actually wrote this joke in that story: “Attempts to get a permanent liquor license have failed like Kate Upton’s training bra.” Clearly, we have matured a lot since then.<\/p>\nAnyway, Crazy Horse Too has been abandoned for years, and was recently the site of a series of fires. Unfortunately, our firefighters are so good, Crazy Horse Too continued to stand.<\/p>\nThe City of Las Vegas issued a notice of demolition in July 2022, and demolition began Dec. 20, 2022.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35221\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35221\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-35221 size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;\" src=\"\/vitalvegas\/dist\/images\/common\/transparent_3x2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/crazy_horse_too_demolition3.jpg\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35221\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It seems some of the things at Crazy Horse Too that appeared natural were, in fact, manmade.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nCrazy Horse Too was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/rick-rizzolo-now-buffalo-jim-barrier-unsolved-mysteries-season-3-1754831\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the headlines<\/a> again recently due to an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries” about the death of James Barrier, also known as “Buffalo Jim.” The episode implies Rick Rizzolo may have had something to do with Barrier’s death. It sounds like hooey to us, but we are are blog, not Robert Stack, who we’re pretty sure died at some point, probably under mysterious circumstances.<\/p>\nAs Crazy Horse Too is leveled, we must tip our hat to the legions of beautiful, charming entrepreneurs who danced at the strip club during the years when we first moved to Las Vegas and fell in love with this town.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35222\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35222\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-35222 size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;\" src=\"\/vitalvegas\/dist\/images\/common\/transparent_3x2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/crazy_horse_too_demolition4.jpg\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35222\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The kickback taxi and rideshare drivers get for taking customers to a strip club is sometimes called a “spiff.”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nWe learned so much about strip clubs, and life, from these dancers. Like the fact a stripper can immediately tell if a customer has money from his shoes, watch and manicure.<\/p>\nHere are more interesting things about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/five-surprising-things-never-knew-las-vegas-strippers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Las Vegas strippers<\/a>.<\/p>\nWhile there are a number of fine strip clubs in Las Vegas, we’ll always have a soft spot for Crazy Horse Too.
