For the first time, Elon Musk’s underground transportation system, the Vegas Loop, extends beyond the footprint of the Las Vegas Convention Center.<\/p>\n

The tunnel system now has a stop at Resorts World. It’s the first of what will eventually be a system with 55 stations.<\/p>\n

You know we had to stop by for a ride!<\/p>\n

Resorts World wisely put up signs for the Vegas Loop when the resort opened a year ago.<\/p>\n

Finding your way to the Vegas Loop station is a great excuse to explore Resorts World. Especially the bars.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s unclear if the Resorts World leg of the Vegas Loop is open to the public yet, or if the charge for rides is actually being charged. We bought a ticket but were told we didn’t need one. It was probably a soft opening.<\/p>\n

The stated price between Resorts World and the Las Vegas Convention Center is $1.50.<\/p>\n

No price gouging here. Ice water is more than that in Las Vegas.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We rode on the first day of operation of the new Resorts World route, and access was only available to those attending the Barrett-Jackson car show and auction.<\/p>\n

We trust the system will be accessible to anyone moving forward.<\/p>\n

Here’s a video of our ride from Resorts World to the Convention Center and back again. This should help with what’s where and how it all works. Resorts World security said no video is allowed, which was adorable.<\/p>\n
