The news came like a swift kick to The Strip’s privates. Caesars Entertainment has severed ties<\/a> with Gansevoort Hotel Group, and Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon will no longer re-open as Gansevoort Las Vegas after $185 million in renovations.<\/p>\n

Gansevoort and Caesars Entertainment have been fairly quiet about this turn of events, but today, Gansevoort Hotel Group sent out an awkward e-mail confirming it has officially broken up with Las Vegas. The e-mail’s subject line: “The End: Gansevoort Las Vegas.”<\/p>\n

The renovation of Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon will continue, and we suspect a new name for the hotel will be announced soon, probably Drai’s, unless there’s a shooting at the current Drai’s nightclub at Bally’s or something.
