Coincidentally,\u00a0one of our favorite colognes is Essence of Yang.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Plagued by financial troubles, Lucky Dragon&#8217;s backers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/lucky-dragon-on-track-after-finding-55-million-under-couch-cushion\/\" target=\"_blank\">appear to have found the millions<\/a> needed to resume construction.<\/p>\n<p>Lucky Dragon&#8217;s casinos structure has been draped in cloth for a number of months now, but no more. At right, the Allure condominium\u00a0tower, which is just happy to see you.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We&#8217;re setting our skepticism aside and rooting for the boutique hotel to open\u00a0on\u00a0schedule, at least according to its revised timeline.<\/p>\n<p>Lucky Dragon is located near the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, close to\u00a0the Bonanza Gift Shop and SLS Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14847\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14847\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14847 size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/lucky_dragon_construction_070416_1.jpg\" alt=\"Lucky Dragon\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/lucky_dragon_construction_070416_1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.casino.org\/vitalvegas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/lucky_dragon_construction_070416_1-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14847\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It looks like Lucky Dragon is back to being a thing again. Fingers crossed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If and when Lucky Dragon opens, it will be the first Las Vegas casino to be built from the ground up since the Cosmopolitan opened in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Among Lucky Dragon&#8217;s distinctive features will be signage in Chinese first, English second. The resort&#8217;s casino will emphasize games popular with Asian players such as baccarat, pai gow poker and sic bo, whatever that might actually be.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The best player in the world right now is the Chinese gambler,&#8221; says the project&#8217;s CEO, Andrew Fonfa.\u00a0Lucky Dragon will have a tea garden as well, hosting traditional Chinese tea ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s great seeing renewed\u00a0activity at the Lucky Dragon site, and assuming things proceed according to plan, we look forward to having a new resort offering in Las Vegas where we can order food we\u00a0have no idea how to pronounce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It looks like Lucky Dragon, the new Asian-themed hotel-casino just off the Las Vegas Strip, is making good on its promises.
